La Terrazza - Together in Tuscany

The size, location and views were great. A short inclined walk into the main town areas for shops and restaurants. Spacious rooms and balcony with expansive views. Kitchen well equipped. When we had a power problem the response was very quick. We would recommend this apartment, unless you have some mobility issues.

Make sure you make confirmed arrangements on how to collect keys and make sure the Aircon remotes are in the apartment! Be prepared for a steep walk in from public carparks. You can drive in and drop luggage between 3-4pm when cars can enter the Restricted Area. Plenty of steps from the building entrance to the apartment - but that's Cortona - just be prepared. We still recommend this apartment.

We had a very enjoyable stay in the La Terrazza apartment, which is in a great location in Cortona and only a few minutes walk up to the main piazza. The accommodation is compact, well laid out and affords the most breathtaking views overlooking the Val di Chiana and Lake Trasimeno, which you can see from each of the bedrooms, terrace, kitchen and shower! The two spacious bedrooms (which are separated by the sitting area and outdoor terrace) have the most comfortable beds with good quality bedding and there are several air-conditioners that effectively cool the apartment. It’s definitely worth staying here for the views alone, but we found the 3 flights of stairs to get up and down are definitely a physical workout!.

Only one window in the second bedroom has a curtain to block light for sleeping and although there is a washing machine, there was no rack to dry clothes.
