Adorable village house in historic Cortona
Proximity to town, cute garden with seating, two bathrooms, kitchen and everything you would need to cook. Felt like a local.
No AC so in August during a heat wave, it was hot in the bedrooms even with the fan on and windows open. It’s also but of a climb uphill to get to the house so only recommend it for people who are physically fit and don’t mind walking and carrying their baggage up to the house .

A very characteristic house in a lovely neighbourhood in beautiful Corona
A very characteristic house in a lovely neighbourhood in beautiful Corona. Very spacious with beautiful bedrooms and an old-style kitchen which was quite charming. A steep but short-ish walk into the lively town centre. Parking is tricky but usually possible. Loved sititng outside in the garden in the evenings where we had space for a paddling pool to keep us cool.
We were badly advised by the agency about driving down to the house, which turned out to be possible, despite us being told taht we had to leave the car a ong way from the house and walk down - with an 86 year old mother and heavy baggage on a hot summer's day.
