Large, beautiful apartment on the main square -- best hospitality ever!
Absolutely exceeded our expectations! The apartment is beautiful and huge, and right on the main square -- you can even see the clock tower from the windows. Laura met us in the central square (we used WhatsApp to coordinate time) and she showed us around the apartment, and gave us many suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We were also treated to a large homemade cake, plus water and milk and plenty of coffee (various sized Bialetti moka makers available). Laura kept in touch via WhatsApp and even gave us more suggestions of things to do after we left Cortona. We cannot say enough good things about this place -- book it, as long as you are able to climb the stairs to reach the apartment (no elevator, of course) and are able to make the climb into town after parking your car in the free lot down below.

A traditional apartment in a fabulous location right in the heart of Cortona
The location was fabulous & Cortona was a really nice surprise. Rosa was fantastic. Really good with guests. Thank you for the dinner recommendation at Dardano.
Unfortunately we were there on the hottest day of the summer & whilst there is a fan as the apartment is at the top of the building it was very hot.

Comfortable stay in a great location
Nicely furnished apartment in a great location, directly beside Piazza della Republica, the center and starting point for discovering the city (and the nightlife) of Cortona. Communication with Rosa, the host, was great, and check-in was well-organized and very pleasant. You can enter the "Zone Traffico Limitato" by car for unloading your luggage which is very convenient considering the steep streets of the old city. The apartment is located on the top floor, and very quiet. High ceiling makes lack of air condition only noticeable during the hottest summer days. Yet, we could sleep with open windows, as it is really, really quiet at night. Highly recommendable.
Air condition (see above) could be a nice future update for additional comfort. Otherwise a great place to stay!
