The Oaktree House

A large spacious house which was very well kept and very clean. Nice braii area and just a short walk into Clarens. Nice spacious rooms and bathrooms and well worth a stay.

We were warmly welcomed by Siena, the housekeeper. The view from the braai area is stunning, and we really enjoyed simply relaxing on the veranda. (We even saw a shooting star) The house is spacious and beautifully, comfortably furnished. The down duvets were a lovely treat. The children enjoyed the large fenced-in yard and available games. Those who wanted to watch rugby appreciated the full DStv package 🤪. The house is within walking distance of just about everything. I would definitely recommend The Oak Tree House for a stay with family or friends. Thank you for entrusting your home to us.

If you are someone who gets extra cold in the winter, make sure to bring a winter fitted sheet and an extra blanket. We appreciated that every room had its own bathroom (4 rooms on the upper floor and 1 room on the lower floor), but there is no separate toilet on the ground floor, so guests use the bathroom of the ground-floor bedroom when everyone is socializing downstairs.

We enjoyed the layout of the house with a great view. The inside fireplace was also a plus and we enjoyed sitting around it in the evening. The location is great!!

Winter sheets on the beds would have been nice

Oaktree has the most beautiful view as well as the perfect location, as it's walking distance to all shops and restaurants. The house is equipped with everything you need. The boardgames was a bonus to keep the kids busy during the cold evenings. And the cleaning lady was a great spoil, to really just sit back, relax and enjoy our short break.
