Moorcroft Manor Boutique Country Hotel

THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY & EVER SO WILLING TO ASSIST. THE HOTEL ROOM WAS NEAT. THE RESTUARANT SERVED A VERY GOOD SELECTION & VARIETY OF FOOD.

IT WAS EXTREMELY COLD IN OUR BEDROOM BECAUSE THE FLOOR HEATING IN OUR ROOM DIDN'T WORK PROPERLY, ALTHOUGH ONE OF THE STAFF DID TRY TO ASSIST US WITH THIS.

Great location. So quiet

I loved the fresh towels and linen. Comfortable, warm and clean

Somethings are perhaps a bit outdated and maybe a Nespresso machine in the rooms would be a nice touch

The warmth and thats all

Check in at 7 pm we expected attention we had to wait for someone in-house that came to the counterto pay their food bill in the middle of our check in we were asked to wait. Receptionist lead us to room was hanging iver my pillows to see if the switch was in behind the bed for the heated flooring. Supper was terrible For a boutique hotel i expected the best serving I got hard stale chips and a burnt steak The kitchen should have I Options for starch like baked potato Just a steak with chips No veggies added .Definitely no value for money . Breakfast was bland not many options Staff dont go and extra mile It was the boutique hotel that made me book thinking it was attention to detail but I was dissappointed Hotels make a better effort One would think a small boutique hotel will be more more effort made I wont go back A high pricing for the room due to the snow but the prices didn't suit the service
