Beautiful setting, lovely hike, the roast was delicious!
We didnt get a warm welcome. Our cottage was right by the reception/restaurant so wasn't as private as we'd liked. The kids playground shouldn't be advertised as one as its very run down and not useable. For the price we paid facilities have been better elsewhere.

It was a good overnight stay and our host was very accommodating to a late checkin at 21h00 and an early check out. I would love to return when we have move time to enjoy the cottage and see more.
The cottage was cosy but very cold. Unfortunately due to our late arrival we had access to wood but there was nothing in the cottage to light the fire as I'm sure it would have helped the cottage to be warmer. We were disappointed that there was no coffee,etc to warm us up.

Love the simplicity of Mount Park and really enjoy being there because it is private and peaceful. Great showers! Favourite is Whispering Waters - comfortable beds & pillows and great shower / water pressure.
In Clivia, the curtains were dirty and the cabin could do with a deep clean, eg the tip jar and cutting board had dirt on it and the strip of wood on the walls had old dirt, as well as the bottom of the windows. The pillows aren't great and the beds not as comfortable as Whispering Waters. Husband fell through a rotting plank on the bridge and hurt his leg.
