Fantastic stay

We loved everything about our stay here, beautiful location and a comfy property. Walking distance to town and other walks, well equipped and great communication.

wonderful stay, very happy to recommend. A few minor points addressed below.

Great location on the fairly peaceful rural edge of Garmisch. Lovely view including Waxenstein/ Zugspitze massif from balcony. Airy spacious attic flat, well equipped with most items. Lucky to get such a great place at late notice. Nearest shops & transport 10-15 minutes walk.

For a two week stay, we would have liked a change of sheets, & more than a small pair of towels per guest. Broom was found hidden in a secret cupboard in communal hallway after three days. No hairdryer. (feedback): found unadvertised washing machine in basement Waschcucker- useful; Wlan password supplied by office was incorrect (missed trailing '!') but found correct password by tv. Instructions on German recycling requirements (eg by colour of bin) would have been appreciated, but not essential. Kitchen very well eqipped, but for one person operation.

Awful management.

The apartment was nice, just as it looks in the photos. Beautiful view from the balcony. Easy access to walks and just a 25 min walk to the centre of town.

The sky window in the bedroom was left open and the bedroom was full of water when we got there. He dried it out with the bathroom towels and we had no towels for hours, we had to call to ask for them. We had part of the bed wet for the first night. The heating went off at night so it got very cold. The wifi didn't work half of the time. There were dirty glasses on side tables when we got there and the linens weren't clearly clean, since they had mascara stains on them. I asked if it was possible to get some extra pillows for the bed (before our arrival), we told it was ok but we never got them. When we reminded the owner he just ignored our messages. We also asked if we could get an extra blanket for the bed, since the heating wasn't working, and we got ignored again. They just replied offering laundry services. We were told to call as soon as we got to Munich Airport to schedule the check in, and our calls and messages were ignored for hours, we honestly thought we were scammed for a while. We had to wonder around town in the rain with nowhere to go and try to communicate with these people for hours. We were also asked to pay for some kind of tax that was never listed on the add.

Getting up with stunning views!

Very authentic with cattle nearby wearing bells. Quiet but not boring and well decorated. Complete & practical kitchen. Plenty of shops & restaurants within walking distance.

It got very cold OR hot at night; balancing this out was tricky. Having to bring back the key downtown at the end of our stay for the convenience of the company representing the owner was not entirely customer friendly.
