Location was perfect..about a 15 minute walk to the harbour We stayed in the Snuggery, breakfast was not included as we had our own cooking facilities

The main lighting was very bright as there were a number of spotlights, the way to overcome this is to zone the lighting on a 2 gang switch , this is just me I worked in design for over 45 years Most people would find it acceptable

Spacious room. Helpful hosts. Lovely hot shower. Nice fluffy towels. Breakfast served to our room. Couch in the room. So easy to relax in.

Fridge a bit loud when trying to sleep but having the convenience of it was worth it. A minor point though.

We had a wonderful stay at this guest house. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and set us up perfectly for the day. The location is ideal – just a short distance from Bamburgh Castle, beautiful beaches, and Seahouses. A perfect base for exploring the area. Highly recommended

Excellent breakfast plenty of choice generous portions served to your room. Location was only a few minutes walk to the centre of Seahouses which was a pleasant way to start the day.

The location was ok. Easy to find and get to. Would have been even better nearer the sea front. The breakfast was good. A wide range of cereals and cooked food. presented well, hot and on time. Our hosts were very friendly and keen to oblige.

I do like a dining room., but apparently no room for one.

Really lovely stay, walking distance to Seahouses and restaurants. Breakfast delivered to your room. Very comfortable bed and a good shower.

Friendly hosts, able to use the garden if needed. Excellent restaurant recommendations. Off road parking and easy walk into Seahouses. Comfy bed.

Shower fan didn't run on so it took a long time for towels etc to dry. Wasn't expecting breakfast to be brought up to the room, the food was good but eating in the room would not be our preference.

Mark and Monique are great hosts, very friendly Wine and cookies left on arrival thoughtful gesture The Toulouse room was really spacious, clean, bed comfy , fab shower The fridge in the room stocked with water, orange juice , milk etc Relaxed breakfast in the room bought by a smiling mark each morning , food lively and fresh ( the overnight oats were amazing ) Beautiful little private garden at the back, sat out here to read my book , very peaceful and off road parking helpful too We would stay here again if we return to seahouses There are lots of places to visit

It's a nice bed and breakfast made outstanding by a few simple touches. The location is good: 15 mins walk from the harbor and it is quiet.

The friendly and informative welcome from the hosts was matched by the quality of the room, little extra touches, wine, tea coffee biscuits etc and fantastic breakfast served to our room. Spectacular.

Slate hall was very clean. Our room was large with an extra large bed that was very comfy. Good choices at breakfast from healthy cereals to full English.

The large room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The ensuite shower, in particular, is hot and powerful. Breakfast was very well prepared and tasted delicious.

The driveway to the parking area is very narrow, requiring extra care if you possess a larger vehicle such as an SUV.

Host rang us en-route to confirm that room was ready Room was very clean and nicely decorated Tea/Coffee making facilities Breakfasts ordered day before, and brought up to room at chosen time next morning. Breakfast was very well prepared. Included fruit, oats and yoghurt. Northumberland cooked breakfast. Toast was also provided. Hosts were flexible in accommodating an early breakfast for visit to Holy Island. Bathroom was spotlessly clean and functional apart from heated towel rail. Shower was fantastic!

Bed was extremely uncomfortable. It sloped both lengthways and widthways. Constantly felt like we were falling out of bed. Had terrible sleep and therefore sore back for the duration of our stay. (Photo taken). Heated towel rail didn't work so towels remained wet from one day to the next. TV didn't work properly. Constantly loosing signal. On one occasion I switched it on, and it had reverted to analogue signal reception instead of digital. I had to fully retune it to receive signals as it said “no signal”. On one occasion had to unplug from mains as inoperable from remote. The proprietors were only available in person during the serving of breakfast. Several attempts to find them failed. Could not fully close and lock bedroom window, which was a security risk. No obvious fire emergency procedures on display in room, or room based smoke sensors No electricity on morning of departure (apparently the whole block but unfortunate none the less).

The location

Very cramped and clostraphobic self catering accommodation. Only has small windows in the roof space. The facilities are all there but to the detriment of guest space. The lock on the only door to the room is faulty.

Comfortable room and bed.

Breakfast is selected the previous evening and is delivered to the room on a tight schedule - latest 8:45am start. Hot drinks are DIY kettle and bags. Coffee is only available as coffee-bags - less than ideal if relying on a good cup of coffee in the morning. Checkout is an inflexible 10am. One is reminded if not out pronto. Bathroom towels were a bit smelly - need to improve the laundry arrangements.

It was within walking distance to the harbour so we didn't have to pay for parking. Comfortable bed and very friendly hosts! Enjoyed chatting with them and their suggestion of taking a boat tour meant we saw seals, dolphins, puffins and other seabirds! The breakfast served in our room was delicious as well.

Had everything we needed, liked the small touches, biscuits, miniature wine bottles and great to have your own fridge, hosts were very welcoming
