Very welcoming hosts and clean rooms with en-suite bathroom toilet . Excellent breakfast .

The rooms could have been provided with a fan to keep the room cooler especially with the unpredictable heat waves expected in the future . The glass windows on the roof and the curtains allow too Much light in the early summer mornings .

Lovely B&B with a large on-suite comfortable room. A short walk on the flat to the centre and harbour. Donna and Paul were great hosts able to advise on all the places of interest locally and in the surrounding area. Nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of choice at breakfast, including a choice of fresh fruits, yoghurt, cereals, or full English We thoroughly enjoyed or stay and managed to take in a trip to the Farne Islands, a visit to Holy Island and a look around Bamburgh Castle

Paul's English breakfast is one of the highlights of staying at Megstone. Bed very comfortable, bedroom clean, quiet and cosy. Location is a 10 minute walk from Seahouses harbour where boats leave for the Farne Islands and bird watching. Lovely coastal walks all around, and lots of places to visit.
