About this apartment rental
This flat is located in the heart of the city, a few metres from the La Latina metro station.
La Latina is one of the best areas in Madrid for tapas: here you will find very traditional restaurants and bars, and others that are totally innovative. It is the ideal place to have an aperitif on Sundays and perfect if you want to do shopping at El Rastro, a very diverse open-air market.
The apartment:
A lovely and practical apartment conveniently located on the ground floor of the building.
As soon as you enter, you find the kitchen, which communicates with the living room. It is equipped with a washing machine, ceramic hob, dishwasher and everything necessary for cooking. The living room, decorated with great taste, has a double sofa bed.
The night area consists of two double bedrooms that boast a lovely design. They are equipped with a double bed each and have direct access to their own bathroom with a shower.
There is WiFi connection, heating and air conditioning in all rooms.
This apartment does not have private parking. However, you will find a public car park within approximately 50 metres of the apartment.
The cot is subject to availability. Please advise a maximum of 5 days in advance.

To be taken into account:
IMPORTANT: This apartment is only offered for seasonal rentals, in accordance with Article 3 of the Urban Leases Act (LAU). Clients will sign a seasonal lease agreement upon arrival.
The online check-in is mandatory in accordance with current regulations and must be carried out through the MitHouse app/webapp. During this process, the MRZ band of each guest's identity document will be read to extract the data required by the authorities. It will be essential to have a mobile device and internet on the phone to access the apartment.
For stays exceeding 28 days, a deposit of €1,000 will be requested, which is refundable at the end of the stay if no damage is caused to the accommodation.
Respect: For the purpose of good coexistence and respect for neighbours and residents, this apartment may be equipped with a 24-hour noise monitoring system. Guests are obliged to comply with the established rest hours at all times.
Please contact our team 48 hours before your arrival and carefully follow the instructions made available to you at all times. Mit House is not responsible for any delay in entering the apartment for not having carried out said prior process.
Access to the apartment: this apartment is located within the Area called MADRID CENTRAL with restricted access to road traffic. Please note that, to access the apartment by private vehicle, you must have the corresponding approval from the Municipal Traffic Directorate (DGT). Otherwise, you can only access the apartment on foot, or by public transport, taxi or VTC. Mit House is not responsible for any municipal fine in this regard

This apartment was a great location for our family of 5 to explore Madrid. Most everything we wanted to see was within walking distance and apartment had everything we needed for a restful stay.

We hate to give less than great reviews because we appreciate vacation rentals, but here goes. First, the check in was brutal. The property manager, MIT, requires that you pay a deposit upon arrival through their app before receiving check in directions, but it didn't work. When I called, they then sent a link for another payment method and it worked after a couple of attempts. We were then able to enter the door on the street only to find they had neglected to address a locked door between the door on the street and the door to the apartment. When I called back, it took a while for them to realize their mistake, but they directed me to a key lock box for the intervening door. When we finally were able to enter the apartment, the first impression is that it smells bad and that the kitchen and living areas are very small. We later found that there was no hot water, the old rug in the living area is a trip hazard because the edges have curled up and there was mold in one of the bathrooms. Also, the curtain rod in one of the bedrooms fell on me because it was not installed properly. On a positive note, the air conditioner works great, they quickly sent a service tech to get the hot water working and it is in a good location to walk to many of the sights in Madrid.
