Simple, large apartment with appropriate equipment and facilities.

Instructions from host were good. Was a large, simple apartment. Good spot, close to old town.

Had to park a little way away in free parking public area. This was full one time when we arrived so had to drive around for a while. Road works on road outside of apartment. Instructions or QR code to use stovetop and washing machine would be good.

A restful stop-off in Amboise

The location of the property was excellent (despite pedestrianisation works in the area), a free car park 150m from the property was excellent. The chateau we wanted to visit were withiin walking distance surrounded by good restaurants and bars. Pauline gave us good instructions prioir to arrival - a neighbour helped us locate the rear staircase and access to the property. The kitchen and living space were excellent.

The bathroom facilities need attention:- basic shampoo & shower gel would have been welcomed (there was none). The black mould in the shower cubicle need attention as does the white sealant. A treatment of bicarb soda and vinegar would address the build-up of calcare in both shower heads.

Location was great but would not stay here again.

Location was excellent, very close to the castle and centre of Amboise. Well equipped apartment.

The stone steps up to the apartment were unsafe as there was no handrail. Elderly people as we are or people with disabilities should be forewarned. The road in front if the apartment was blocked as roadworks were going on and we were advised to use a nearby carpark. However the carpark was full and it took ages to find a place and we then had to carry our luggage quite a distance.

Quiet, comfortable, spotless and a great stay. The room is amazing. Spacious bathroom. Kitchen and large lounge area. Big comfy bed. Has everything you need and more. The little things are included, phone charge points, coffee pods and exceptional WIFI. Close to all tourist attractions, cafes and restaurants. The owners provided plenty of information in the lead up to arrival and gaining access to the apartment was simple by following their instructions. The entry and court yard was simply superb, felt like walking into a real French house environment.

Great location apartment

Great location. 5 min walking distance to Clos de Luce and 2 min walking to city center. The apartment was newly decorated, on a quiet street, clean and well equipped. Pauline, the host,gave us good directions for the parking place and responded to our messages fast.( never saw her in person,though)

The bathroom was really tiny and needed an upgrade. The bedding would have been nicer if it had been ironed,not only washed.

Location could not have been better. It was a short walk to sites, town centre, and train station.

Would have been nice to have laundry clips available for when we hung our laundry on the line to dry. I was worried that they might get blown away. The stated check out time when we booked was 12 pm, but we were asked to leave by 11 am to accommodate the cleaner.

Superb

A lovely airbnb with good, spacious areas. We loved the little courtyard that we were in and the lovely couple who lived downstairs were very helpful and kind. The location was FANTASTIC, close to Chateau d'amboise and Chateau du Clos Luce (literally a 2min walk and 5min walk to each). Restaurants and shops close by as well. All up, a great experience.

The bed was a bit firm for me but hubby slept well. It would be helpful to write the WIFI code and password on a laminated sheet of paper or in a book. We didn't have access to WIFI until the last day we were there.

Lugar idóneo para iniciar ruta de los castillos del Loira, ubicacion original, facil de aparcar y en una calle tranquila donde poder descansar. La terraza encantadora. Sin ver a la snfitriona, estuvo pendiente en todo momento, facilitando el sparcsmienti y la ubicación.

L.emplacement est idéal pour visiter Amboise, l’appartement est spacieux, poutre apparente, literie confortable et logement calme,hôte réactive.

L’odeur nauseabonde d’egout qui vient de la salle de bain, ça vous prends à la gorge, l’état au sol de bac à douche est d’une saleté repoussante, cela impacte même les plinthes de la salle de bain.

Отличное местоположение, комфортная кровать, оснащенная кухня. Очень милый городок. Фото соответствуют реальности.
