Canopy by Hilton London City

The air conditioning was refreshing & fully functional. The water was always available hot or cold. Room service was timely. We did upgrade to the King Suite, and it was worth it, coming from the U.S. the ‘suites’ are like a basic deluxe bed room so the space was ideal to avoid feeling crammed. The room was relaxing after days spent on foot. Everything is accessible by foot and train. The nearest station is Aldgate, which has a coffee shop right before the entrance around the corner from the hotel.

The rooftop bar area closes early and/or is often occupied by private events if that matters to anyone. We didn’t get to see it. You get 2 complimentary drink tickets, but you may have to claim at the lobby bar. The AC does automatically shut off while you leave the room but it adjusts in a timely matter once you turn it on again. The room service menu was limited but there’s plenty of Uber Eats options that meet in the lobby.

Stunning hotel. Super friendly & helpful staff. Spacious, comfortable, clean room. Great guest spaces in the reception area. Excellent location, really easy & quick to get to the places we wanted to go to from Aldgate. Absolutely loved the big pink chair in our room 🩷

No safe in the room, would have been good to have one. Pillows were a bit too soft for me bit that's just personal preference.

It was lovely one thing was the aircon could barely get it to work and in our room it seemed like it was blocked by a beam so it barely cooled the room down
