    We book this hotel mainly because of the breakfast for our short londond stays. The breakfast meal is until 10:30. We arrived for breakfast at 9:45. We ordered a fried egg and an omelet. When ordering, the hostess at the counter told me that there was a line and we had to wait about 10 minutes and the note was placed on the table in line. At the preparation counter there was only one employee, we sat on the lower level, table 1 right below the counter and until 10:40, except for seeing the hostesses talking to each other and laughing and looking at their phones and running around, but until we left about an hour later, we did not receive the our order. We left disappointed!

    The only minor inconveniences during our stay were related to the bathroom taps. The sink tap does not have an aerator, which causes the water to splash quite easily if you are not careful. In addition, closing the bath tap required some patience and almost millimetre-level precision to stop the water completely. That said, the hotel itself is about 120 years old and you notice this occasionally, but it actually adds to its charm and character. The location is exceptional: just a one-minute walk from Piccadilly Underground, which makes it incredibly easy to get anywhere in London. The breakfast was superb. Our room was clean and spacious, and we had a comfortable king-size bed with all the little amenities you might need. I had forgotten my razor at home, and the staff provided one free of charge without any hassle — it arrived within five minutes of asking. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

    Do not stay in rooms between*** no window to get fresh air like a jail these rooms are on to the breakfast room we had booked 2 rooms both on this floor both blocked windows and frosted out for a 5 star hotel this was a disgrace and I should have looked for a refund … I had stayed prior to this and we really liked it stayed on fourth floor…. breathing air con all 3 nights no thanks … I would think twice coming back here again

    Would not recomment. The only good thing about this hotel is its location. There is no noise insultation in the rooms and you can hear everything- conversations, coughing, the showers running, doors closing... The SPA is also very run down and the SPA treatments are overpriced for what you get.
