A really enjoyable break

It was cosy and comfortable. Very clean. Actually spotless. A welcome pack was a lovely surprise. The flat is very well equipped with everything necessary for a great break. Fully enclosed back garden ideal for our wee dog. Thank you to all the Blue Door Team. A real home from home.

Great break in Kirkcudbright!

The flat is beautiful. Great location on Bridge Street right next to the River Dee. The accommodation was spotless and fittings etc top notch. Had everything we needed for a lovely few days. There is a small back garden which was a real bonus. Garden furniture too! Enjoyed coffee and a couple of g&t’s outside in the sunshine. Highly recommend.

Really clean, well equipped, comfortable bed and a super little garden. There were numerous great little touches like good quality toiletries, napkins and a few essential supplies provided. The location was great too, close to shops and the harbour.

Beautiful garden and garden furniture allowed us to sit outside and enjoy meals . Fantastic friendly neighbors. Flat was so comfortable and they went the extra mile. I will recommend and return.

An ideal property in a central location in a delightful town.

Clean and well presented with a delightful array of goodies on our arrival. The location was ideal; close to the harbour and river with shops and restaurants around the corner. Small garden at the rear with ample seating.

Lovely cottage in Kirkcudbright

Very nice property, really well presented and equipped inside and out, felt like home. Owner even helped to arrange for some flowers to be left before we arrived for a birthday and left a little gift too. Great location in Kirkcudbright next to the river and right in town.

Perfect last minute break

Wow what a perfect place - so clean, warm, well equipped and in a fab spot to explore Kirkcudbright and beyond. The pictures don’t do it justice and it’s truly lovely inside. Garden gets loads of sun. Always managed to park right outside. Will definitely be back :)

Apartment is easy walking distance of shops, cafes but also to walks. Very private, secure garden for staying with dogs and lovely to sit out in. Everything you need is there and all clean & quality products.

A piece of heaven in Kirkcudbright

We loved everything. It was a lovely comfortable peaceful relaxing home. The welcome pack was brilliant, the welcome note from the host was lovely, the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, the garden was an absolute haven, the sitting room was very comfortable and cosy. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the beds were out of this world and each of us got a great night's sleep every night. The bathroom was perfect and it's shower was absolutely wonderful. The overall decor was lovely with eye catching pictures through out. I cannot fault the property and would definitely stay again.

a lovely apartment well situated with easy access to town, pubs and shops. The furnishings and linens are high quality and kitchen included tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. everything went smoothly with the booking and Lorna was helpful communicating. beds were comfy. the garden was well equipped with furniture and sunshade. the apartment was spacious and would easily accommodate 4 adults. I highly recommend it. also dinner at the Selkirk Arms

A little gem

Fabulous location either for pottering around Kirkcudbright or for exploring the area. The Blue Door is a lovely property- clean and well appointed and really comfortable. Absolutely loved it!

The only thing missing was some way of playing or streaming music or radio- a very little thing against lots of massive positives.
