Cosy apartment in popular harbour town

We don't really know where to start to convey how wonderful this apartment is. The host has thought of absolutely everything you could possibly want and more. The thoughtfulness, kindness and effort shown in everything available is beyond belief. Spotlessly clean, in a fantastic, scenic location. We honestly didn't want for a single thing. The valentines chocolates were such a lovely touch too. Our Dog was catered for too! Would 100% recommend in a heartbeat. Thank you for our wonderful stay 🥰🥰

Everything had been thought of, down to the smallest detail. It was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. We loved the bowl full of sweets on the coffee table. Communication with the host was outstanding. We would highly recommend this place.

The entrance is a bit off-putting, but belies what is inside.

The welcome fruit basket was very thoughtful. We appreciate the easy contact with the host. The flat was well-appointed. Parking was possible right in front of the house. Good amenities outside. A good base to explore the region.

Would have been happier if the shared downstairs exterior door could be closed.

Town location. cosy apartment really lived up to its name it was clean and had everything you could want in an apartment, a really comfy bed that just hugged you views of the bridge

Even though it was smallish, it had everything that you needed and lots more. There were even chocolates waiting for us. There was a downstairs lobby room, to put luggage and coats, a kitchen/living room with a fold out sofa bed, a bathroom with a shower and a room with a double bed in it. It was perfect for a couple and 2 kids who could share the pull-out sofa bed, It was very clean and it had been recently refurbished to a high standard. The owner kept in touch and when we had a query, she sorted it out straightaway. There were books and DVD's and games to keep us amused as well as TV/Netflix, which the kids loved. The apartment is on the main crossroads so is very central. But owners - when I was looking at booking this, I was very put off by the awful picture of the property-it looks like an old photo from a Victorian newspaper! Put a new one on that shows the property off! And change wording to "cosy modern apartment" or "cosy refurbished apartment", to sell it more... Despite this, I booked it cos of the great reviews which seemed genuine and I was pleasantly surprised. You need to sell it more as its a great property- lots of facilities for kids and dogs! And very clean and modern. 10/10. Next time we are in Kirkcudbright, we would book this.

It was a bit of a pain having to fold out the sofa bed each night, but it was ok once we trained the kids how to do it!
