Lovely cottage in a great setting with views down to the river from the patio. Very clean and well equipped. Short drive into Kirkudbright where there is a good selection of restaurants. Andy is very welcoming, we would have had no worries about contacting him, although this was never necessary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

We recently returned home from a lovely relaxing week staying in Hameish. The cottage was spotless with a comfortable spacious lounge to relax on an evening. We had everything that we needed, a real home from home with a cosy feel. The location is excellent for flat walks by the river either way, we enjoyed days out exploring the local areas. Peaceful relaxing and just what was needed.Andy & Kathleen have really thought of everything to make perfect holiday cottage so inviting. Thank you so much, we hope to return as we loved our stay
