Apartment was clean and spacious and in a great location. Communication with owner good. He was very responsive to queries.

In other holiday accommodation there has been a folder of instruction leaflets and relevant information about the property. This property would have benefitted from information about how to work the oven (how to set the temperature for example), and how to work the digital radiators ( my 15 year old daughter managed most of them but the one in the front bedroom seemed to be on a timer and came on at 8 in the morning but not the evening before when the room was cold.) No information about recycling for the glass and cardboard we had to throw away. Big issues with WiFi meant it was hard to connect which we were told was down to local roadworks and was temporary. Managed to get the Netflix app on the TV working but not C4 or iPlayer. Parking in the road much easier than navigating a carpark big enough for three or four cars but not if one of the guests has parked on the driveway and blocked off the carpark. Front bedroom not protected from noise from the traffic early morning (farm vehicles I think).

A few issues let the property down. The windows didn't fit properly and we twice had quite a lot of water coming in the living room window. No Cafetiere, single kitchen sink, a bit lacking in clothes storage. Otherwise, clean, nicely decorated (although the living room has dark furniture and floor, so a bit gloomy), comfortable beds.

We reported the water coming in to the host, so they might be fixed now. Good location, has parking, but access is a bit tight and this is shared between multiple flats, so you might not want to use as you might get blocked in.

The TV could not be used no signal and could not connect to any sites such as YouTube tried to contact the given number switched off.

The parking was good, and the property was clean.

There were no instructions provided for any appliance, screen or technology. The radiators definitely need some instructions as the screen technology and model was totally new to us; we had no idea how to use or control them. The same for the screen by the door. The sink in the bathroom was also way too small for any real usage. The cupboard above was also not well positioned just above the sink; you can't put your face over the sink for a wash.
