We booked last minute minute and the owner turned it around for us. Lovely clean apartment and welcoming host.

Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Close to centre. Parking.
Host sorted faulty alarm, mix up with booking.com and attended to leak in window super promptly.
James was v friendly & helpful.
Only comment I’d make is that information/guidebooks on Kirkcudbright and surrounding area would have been appreciated actually in the property. They had some leaflets in the main hall but some books/maps/ places of interest would have been nice in house reading.

Very clean and well laid out. Owner very responsive when we had a problem.
No instructions at property so modern radiators and oven were difficult to know how to operate. Kitchen equipment was minimal, no serving dishes etc. We could not get to to work. Owner sent someone round immediately and on Christmas Day, which was great. Unfortunately it did not resolve matters fully. Could only watch one channel.

The parking was good, and the property was clean.
There were no instructions provided for any appliance, screen or technology. The radiators definitely need some instructions as the screen technology and model was totally new to us; we had no idea how to use or control them. The same for the screen by the door.
The sink in the bathroom was also way too small for any real usage. The cupboard above was also not well positioned just above the sink; you can't put your face over the sink for a wash.
