Excellent.

Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Close to centre. Parking. Host sorted faulty alarm, mix up with booking.com and attended to leak in window super promptly. James was v friendly & helpful.

Only comment I’d make is that information/guidebooks on Kirkcudbright and surrounding area would have been appreciated actually in the property. They had some leaflets in the main hall but some books/maps/ places of interest would have been nice in house reading.

Clean flat, would benefit from instructions and fully operational to

Very clean and well laid out. Owner very responsive when we had a problem.

No instructions at property so modern radiators and oven were difficult to know how to operate. Kitchen equipment was minimal, no serving dishes etc. We could not get to to work. Owner sent someone round immediately and on Christmas Day, which was great. Unfortunately it did not resolve matters fully. Could only watch one channel.

Very clean, very well laid out, great modern look inside, had all you needed.

We couldn’t work out how to turn the heating down. A bit hot over night, but we like to be cosy so was t a huge issues. Maybe some instructions would be handy, just a suggestion.

Good comfy stay

Upon arrival, accessing the property with the key code was straightforward. I located the apartment, but the key was not in the door; the door was already open. Upon entering, I discovered two other individuals inside. It turned out to be a mistake by one of their friends, who had confused the apartment numbers. Although they hadn't used the beds, it was evident they had been relaxing on them. However, we had a wedding to attend, and the situation was soon resolved amicably. I did send a message to the owner, who simply responded with a thank you. Perhaps it was an isolated incident, but the apartment was clean and tidy. Except for one light switch, which was quite dirty, so I cleaned it. Overall, the experience was satisfactory.

Location was excellent clean and central in a very nice building

No visitor book with tips and pointer of flat and area eg heating attractions near by. Apartment was very nice but felt a little clinical/commercial the sofa was ok but not comfortable (cheap) more soft furnishings felt a little like a bachelor pad

Friendly host, beautifully clean, great location.

Incredibly clean, sparkling. Very new so everything is fresh. Soap, fairy, tinfoil, tea coffee sugar etc is handy and enough cutlery dishes. Smoke alarm.

Pillows could have been comfier. Not a fan of black bed linen and towels but I guess that is personal preference.

The Apartment was immaculate, modern and freshly decorated, it’s rare to find somewhere that isnt dated with overwhelming colour schemes and patterns so was lovely to see the effort put in at these apartments. We didn’t use any facilities at the property other than the beds and showers as we only stayed one night but the kitchen had all the supplies you’d need for basic cooking, everything was new and clean. Beds were spotless and were ok comfort wise. There are numerous leaflets at the main entrance door with information of places to visit and eat which is helpful. The location was perfect as it’s within walking distance to most amenities. The town was very quiet at night and felt extremely safe when walking home late. I contacted the host James on arrival as I’d overlooked his message regarding check details and he was very polite and helpful. I Was hoping to rebook the same apartment for this weekend but unfortunately it’s already booked. I’d definitely stay again.

Nothing … Only thing I can comment on was There was no information on how to control the heating which looked to be wifi connected. Im not very good with technology so could be lack of knowledge on my part. Some reviews have been critical of the road noise. At night it was very quiet and only in the morning was the road a bit busier but it is on the Main Street through the town so traffic is to be expected. Wasn’t an issue for us

Only issue for me was the shower. Typical low pressure electric shower. If you have one at home you will love this property because everything else in the flat is well maintained and comfortable.

Ok - good location, but the flat just lacked the welcoming factor and atmosphere, and usability.

The parking was good, and the property was clean.

There were no instructions provided for any appliance, screen or technology. The radiators definitely need some instructions as the screen technology and model was totally new to us; we had no idea how to use or control them. The same for the screen by the door. The sink in the bathroom was also way too small for any real usage. The cupboard above was also not well positioned just above the sink; you can't put your face over the sink for a wash.

Enjoyed our long weekend, and the apartment was clean and comfortable.

Property was clean, modern, newly decorated and comfortable. Location was excellent both for the town centre and for numerous nearby dog walks. We liked that dogs were welcome at no extra charge.

There was no wifi although it had been advertised. Tried to contact the owner but all emails were returned after I was given access details. The property is on a busy road and the windows did not appear to cut out traffic noise, which was a problem for my friend who was sleeping in the front bedroom.

The location was ideal. Beautifully renovated.

Only just refurbished so lacking in wall decoration which it needed. Front bedroom was noisy due to road traffic - maybe thick curtains would help here with the noise? Slow wifi but we were told a booster would be coming later on. The bathroom cabinet is fitted in a hazardous position and one of our party hit themselves on it when trying to use the tiny sink - please but a mirror flush to the wall instead to avoid accidents.

A fabulous apartment which met and exceeded our expectations.

The apartment was finished to a high specification with top quality furnishings and fittings. The living room and both bedrooms were very spacious, bright and airy. Very responsive heating system, decent large, hot shower and good wifi connection. The kitchen had every utensil you could possibly require. The owner was on site and was welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. We would definitely return and recommend Mansefield apartments to others.

The wash hand basin is lovely but a little small to be practical, especially with the cabinet fitted directly above. The dining table was beautifully set with crockery, cutlery and glasses but this wasn't helpful because we had to take everything into the kitchen to help prepare and serve meals.
