Tucked away in a peaceful spot in the heart of Kirkcudbright, this lovingly restored, traditional cottage provides the perfect base for couples and families to explore South West Scotland and stunning coastal landscapes. Set amidst beautiful coastal countryside, the harbour town of Kirkcudbright enjoys a sheltered position in the estuary of the River Dee on the north Solway shore. Known as the Artist’s Town, there are wonderful local galleries to explore, including Kirkcudbright Gallery and Kirkcudbright Harbour Cottage Gallery, both reached within half a mile of the doorstep. Enjoy panoramic views of the Galloway Hills and the Dee Estuary at the 18-hole Kirkcudbright Golf Club a mile away or enjoy the taste of the local area amongst Kirkcudbright’s excellent selection of local pubs, cafes and restaurants. Soak up the maritime atmosphere strolling through Kirkcudbright Marina (0.5 miles), losing yourself in the sights and sounds of bobbing fishing boats.

Due to the age of the cottage, there are some low beams throughout.


At the bottom of the shared garden, there’s a private paved seating area, which boasts wonderful views across your picturesque local scenery – a perfect spot for al fresco dining. The summer house ensures you enjoy your stunning surroundings come rain or shine. On-street parking is subject to availability.
