MINAS VILLA

The villa is very spacious, every room had their own bathroom. The location ia very close to the beach and to local amenities and restaurants.

The internet speed was very low. There is only one parking space for 5 rooms so we had to park further away. There was no cleaning and bedsheets and towels change during our 10 nights stay.

perfect location amongst village life (Easter period) and fantastic for 3 mixed families to all have a room and bathroom - fantastic space and homey kitchen/living area.

Beds are indeed hard, and hot water was sometimes scarce

Excellent location, quite near the beach and all facilities, yet reasonably quiet. Views in all directions from the all-round balcony plus choice of sun or shade at any time of day. The Villa consists of the top floor of a building plus one downstairs room (the ground floor is occupied below but you hardly notice it). Nice traditional feel with dark wood and tiled floors. Very convenient for a mixed family group as each room has its own bathroom. The ‘extra large’ beds are in fact two single mattresses together under a single headboard. The landlady Panagiota was very friendly and helpful.

Minas Villa suffers from the usual Greek problems - electrical sockets loose in the wall, taps loose on sinks/washbasins, ill-fitting basin plugs. Showers upstairs were all hand-held: there were fixing points on the walls but the shower heads did not have compatible fittings. The fridge did not get very cold - we eventually found the instructions and luckily were able to read them in French (no English) and this gave us an improvement but still not brilliant. There were ants in the kitchen, kept at bay by regular spraying but kept coming back. One set of sheets for the whole 10-day stay, one change of towels.
