Kastro-Kardamili

We loved staying at Kastro Houses, we have been coming to Kardamyli for 6 years and this was our first stay here. Clean, simple, comfortable, nestling in olive & orange groves. It is 200m to the sea through the olives and about 1km to walk into the centre of town. Petros was an exemplary host, present when needed but respectful of our privacy. The villas are arranged to maximise your sense of being private too. The views of the sea were from our roof top which gave 360 views of the mountains & coast (other villas with second floors had upstairs balconies. All in all perfect, we will be returning.

The main road is busy and not great to walk along at night, but we used the coastal road which was slightly longer but a more scenic route which was fine.

The photos on the website do not do this place justice. You are smack bang in the middle of a beautiful olive grove with a very short walk to the beach. The quality of the houses is very high with great attention to the finishings. Petros was exceptionally helpful the entire time and felt more like a gracious host rather than a manager of a property. Interacting with Petros definitely elevated our experience here. Additionally, the taverna on-site is of very high quality with a different menu everyday and reflective of food is fresh that day.

Sympathique petite maison avec un confort agréable. L'hôte est charmant. Nous avons reçu une petite bouteille de vin , des aliments pour préparer un petit déjeuner. A disposition aussi de l'huile d'olive, des crackers etc... Emplacement proche de la route mais sans trop de bruit. Dommage que la vue du rez de chaussée soit juste sur des oliviers très proches. Afin de voir la mer, il faut monter sur la terrasse au premier étage.

Sehr gute Lage unmittelbar am Meer, ruhig gelegen.

Due Ausstattung der Küche ist sehr reduziert, einfache Kaffeemaschine, wenig Geschirr, es fehlen große Messer. Für kleine Gerichte und für Frühstück reicht es.
