Very comfortable - sofa and beds were great. Excellent storage available. Private premises and felt safe. Loved the pool. Didn’t realise there were two bathrooms so for a family of five that was a bonus!

Possibly like there to be other kitchen knives - cutting a large watermelon with a bread knife wasn’t easy!

This was our first holiday in the Peleponese and we will be back to explore. Having looked at options along the coast from Kalamata, we settled on Stoupa and the Tria Residence. The accommodation was perfect as we needed two bedrooms and two bathrooms and liked the option of beach mornings and poolside afternoons. Our host Clare was amazing, taking questions before we arrived and during our stay. She helped organise taxi transfers and offered her top tips on restaurants. The residence has recently been taken over and the new owners are working through upgrades. The pool and garden are very clean. Our kitchen was a little tired but perfectly useable. The open plan living space is great. All windows and doors have screens to keep the bugs out. The AC units work very well. It was handy having access to a washing machine to freshen up our own beach towels. Supermarket and bakery 10 mins walk from villa. The beach and sea are very clean. The cafes and restaurants along the front offer free sunbeds so long as you order coffee/food/drinks. We enjoyed the beds at Elea Cafe. So much more reasonable than Italy. Lots of restaurants and bars in Stoupa. Our highlights were 360 Cocktail Bar, Akrogkiali, Aphros and Dolcini Patisserie for ice cream. Enjoyed gyros at the villa from Perasma, who deliver. One night took a taxi to Agios Nikolaos for a meal at Elli's Tavern (Clare's excellent recommendation). Book a taxi ahead of time as there aren't many in the area. As a family we enjoyed a snorkeling trip with the team at Dive Code. A fantastic family day out which included a wonderful lunch. Very professional. The location is ideal. Close enough to the beach front but further out to enjoy the quiet. Stoupa is not overly touristy which was great as you feel like you are also mixing with the locals. We'll be back!

Minor issue and it's probably on the list for upgrade but the over the bath shower head in the upper bathroom could do with being replaced.

Nice room and balcony and great pool.

The couch is not so comfortable to sleep on if you stay more than a couple of days.

Location was great. Great laundry facilities.

Very old fashioned decor. Needed modernising. The pool restrictions for 3 hours in the afternoon seemed bonkers - no noise at exactly the time you’d want to be in the pool.
