Mythos Villas

The owner, Stavros, met us at the villa and was very friendly and welcoming. The villa had the wow factor - lovely building and gardens, amazing pool and a welcome package which was a bonus! And stunning views over the pool to the sea - fabulous sunsets! We absolutely loved the pool - it’s big and deep for proper swimming - and there were lots of comfortable sunloungers and chairs. The villa was well equipped and had a large terrace where we could eat our meals. It was very clean with tasteful decor and Stavros even arranged for a mid week clean and change of bedding. We couldn’t have had a better host - he even loaned my husband a mountain bike so that he could do a couple of cycle rides and he was so helpful with advice about what to do and where to go in the area. Good to know: from the villa you can walk down a little path to the sea and Kalogria beach where there are several good restaurants. There are also sunloungers for hire, pedalos etc though we didn’t use these. The path gets a little uneven across the rocks just before you get to the beach so you need to be careful but there is lighting for night time. We actually liked just walking as far as the rocks and then going in swimming off the rocks. You can walk about 10 mins further into Stoupa which is also pretty with a long sandy beach and has a lot of restaurants and some shops. There is a good supermarket a few mins drive (or a 10-15 minute walk) from the villa. We also went to Foneas beach (10min drive) on Stavros’s advice - it’s a lovely cove - and to Kardamyli to visit the old town and go to the beach there. We did a couple of hikes in the area too. All in all a wonderful holiday at a gorgeous villa!

One of the best stays in Greece ! What a location and amazing host. We will definetly be back!!
