The Olive Grove KALAMATA - SP

We had a great stay at this nice house in Kalamata. Stathis was a very kind host, he gave advice and directions. Stathis and his family live on the upper floors of the house, but you wouldn’t even notice that they are there. The big pool and garden are fantastic for a family with children, there is a gas bbq that is great for outdoor cooking, the house is a short car drive away from a market and the city center, we could explore the whole region as the house has a central location.

The outdoor space was beautiful and the location was great (if you have a vehicle). Really close to everything in Kalamata and a stones throw to Verga. The host and owners of the home were very nice.

This is not a luxury house for your exclusive use…it’s an apartment that is part of a bigger house with a lovely outdoor space. The owners live there which was a surprise to us upon arrival. They were very nice and you barely knew they were there however this was misrepresented to us. For the amount we paid and what we were told by the host prior to booking, we expected to be renting the actual home so that we had total privacy. We were guests thus not feeling 100% comfortable to enjoy the outdoor space as we wished. I’m sure the owners wouldn’t have cared but we did because we knew they could hear everything. The apartment was clean and has everything you need. The host stocked the refrigerator with water, juice boxes, bread, cheese, ham, butter and milk. We appreciated that especially after a very long travel day. All in all, we enjoyed our stay (albeit not what we expected) and would stay again, but the price would have to be lower.
