Nice for a short stay in Crans during the Ski Season

Excellent simple hotel with clean rooms and superb staff.

This was a surprisingly excellent stay! The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are tidy and clean, the breakfast is excellent (with an amazing view) and the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. Surpassed my expectations, I would return without a doubt!

Wifi was a bit slow and unfortunately the restaurant was closed on Sunday evening. Apart from that: great. It's a simple hotel without much bells and whistles, but what you get is very good.

Each morning started with a delightful breakfast—freshly baked croissants, specialty jams, and rich, freshly brewed coffee. It felt like a treat, not just a routine. My room had the most beautiful view from the balcony, a perfect place to start or end the day. While I was out exploring, the room was always cleaned to perfection—a small detail that spoke volumes about the care they put into everything. The location couldn’t be better—just a short, easy walk to both Crans and Montana, with bus stops nearby if you want to go farther. This stay was more than just a getaway—it felt like being welcomed into an exclusive five-star retreat. I’ll always remember this truly unforgettable time at Splendide.

Hotel Splendide is an excellent choice if you want to be between Montana and Crans and see all at walking distance. The view is stunning and the location very quiet, as the hotel is located at the end of a small road. Arriving by cable car, the walk is about 15 minutes. From the hotel, a lovely small walking path guides you to Crans center. The rooms are clean, the bed has great mattresses, the bathroom is spacious and clean. Breakfast is not too extended in choice; just enough to enjoy different kinds of bread, cheese, yoghurt, and croissants with homemade marmalade. The coffee is great and the service is excellent.

The credit card reservation came out a bit messy. It's written that they don't need a pre-payment, but then the amount is reserved on your credit card, and in my case, it was reserved two times, which I found confusing. Then the final credit card payment I made at the hotel was slightly higher than the price for which I booked the hotel. It's not much, only €7, but I would have preferred to pay right away with my credit card the price for which I booked the room and then have a quiet mind. I'm sure the hotel didn't do it on the purpose, as they are really kind and caring, so when I come back, I'll ask them to arrange it better from the beginning.

Really enjoyed my stay at Splendid Hotel! The view of the room is stunning, the breakfast is very good (home made jams, a lot of choices), and the staff was very friendly and making sure everything was fine. Very good value! If I go back to Crans-Montana, will definitely go there again.

Nice hotel and friendly staff, with central location, near to the ski lift

Room was clean, and staff was very friendly. Breakfast and dinner was very good in the hotel. The hotel also provided ski passes with reduced price.
