I loved everything!! The property is well equipped and has more than we ever expected. I loved that they supplied everything we needed in the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. All we needed was clothes, food and toiletries. There were plenty of games to play to kill some time, a tv that you can watch in bed. Plus, they supplied the small details like liners, for air fryer, bin bags, tea, and coffee. They have really thought about your stay even if you are travelling with pets which makes this place special. I couldn't fault Judith, and she made us feel welcome.
This isn't Judith fault as she can't control this, but in windy conditions, the shepherds hut shook quite a bit which kept me up most nights.

The location was perfect, exactly where I needed to be, very quiet, very pretty. Host was friendly and helpful. wifi didn't work but that was more down to the location. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely book again in future.
A big microwave and a Ninja took up all the kitchen space so no room to prepare food. That really was the only thing.

Compact but well equiped facility with everything you need for a confortable stay and to self cater if required. The host was charming and pleasant taking a genuine interest in guests. Particulalrly impressed with how well equiped for dogs the accomodation was, mine had a great time.
Just the time of year and weather meant the hut could get very warm but wasps in numbers tended to come in if opening windows fully but not someting that can be helped unless perhaps some fly screens.

Sadly, my main criteria for booking was that it had parking, private bathroom and Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi simply didn't work at all and the TV was also very hit and miss. The shower was not easy to get hot and stay hot and we couldn't open the bathroom window to allow steam to escape. The microwave was huge but there were no cooking bowls or utensils. Great for a short stay no doubt but a week was far too long.
More shelving and less cushions. Simply nowhere to put them all. The space behind the bed is dead space and the plug points behind the microwave are very difficult to access. I am sure if we were a bit younger and more adventurous and had only stayed for a few days, it would have been fine!
