Lovely house to use as a base to explore the local area.

Lovely house well decorated and maintained.

The garden could have been gated - safer for the dogs to roam freely then.

Good house, comfortable & well heated. Just needs a couple of touches to improve the comfort in the lounge area.

Clean, modern, heating was really good and efficient & beds were comfortable.

Not enough storage, as in no where to hang coats etc downstairs. The lounge doesn’t have enough seating for 6 adults and the rug in the lounge unfortunately is a trip hazard.

Great pet friendly house, with plenty of room for all! Very friendly host

This house was absolutely perfect for what we needed. It was very close to family we were visiting, and allowed us to have pets. The bedrooms were all a good size, the kitchen / diner is massive with everything you could need to cook during your stay there. Plenty of parking outside as well. Decorated well, very inviting - they even put up a Christmas tree and left out some Christmas games/trinkets. And the host was incredibly friendly and responsive during our stay, even though it was over the Christmas period!

We were two families that stayed there for 2 nights with pets. Spacious and great beds, Best sleep!

We had all the info we need to access the property. And well in time for our arrival! Nikki is a considerate owner and kept in touch to make sure we are ok. Everything we needed was there. We will return!

Front door could do with a little step for elderly people. At night we forgot to raise our feet (silly I know)

There was rubbish strewn on the lawn and lots of cigarette butts outside when we arrived. I imagine this was due to previous people staying and cleaners not paying attention to the outside. It was easy enough to sort out (as we have little kids wanting to play outside we did ourselves) but the host offered to come and do it for us. The village has everything you need in terms of shop and pharmacy but the play park not particularly nice and not much going for it (no cafe, etc). We didn’t do any research before going so that’s on us but you definitely need to drive out to places if you have kids (but there are plenty of places close by).

Very comfortable, clean and well prepared home from home

This is one of the nicest houses we've rented on our travels through lovely Yorkshire. Immaculately clean (every room) and well presented, REALLY spacious and VERY comfortable. Enough off road parking space for 2/3 cars in a quiet residential area close to shops etc. Nicki (our contact) is lovely and couldn't be more helpful. Highly appreciated and recommended
