Really lovely property and had a good stay despite the few points raised.

The toilet roll holder was behind you. The mirror shelf was in the way when trying to have a wash. The bed was squeeky when moving from side to side.

Lovely Place

Lovely apartment in a beautiful house and garden. Great setting not far from Holmfirth and with great walks on the doorstep. Friendly and welcoming host. Would highly recommend.

Great location, comfortable apartment with lovely hosts.

Location was great for us, 5 minute drive into town or 15 minute walk (very steep hill on the way back). Had top floor of a large house with own access door, fabulous gardens to sit in or explore and lovely owners to chat to. Pub 30 yards away with friendly staff and locals, good selection of beers and sprits available, nice outdoors area adjacent to the pub. No food available but that didn't bother us. Well stocked Co-Op 50 yards away, plenty of food, drink and friendly staff.

We really liked the Pear Tree Annex. The hosts were great and our stay there was super comfortable.

The annex was super comfortable, quaint, and super clean. the outdoor gardens were absolutely lovely. We loved it and hope to return in the future sometime!

Only thing missing was some bathroom soap...as we didn't carry that while traveling.

Great little hide away

Beautiful cosy apartment in a tranquil setting Very clean and comfortable Good kitchen utensils and kitchen ware lovely to hear the birds in a morning Lovely walk around the gardens and seeing the ducks on the water in the grounds

Only minor critique, it would have been perfect with small TV in bedroom as having a lie in and cup of tea, but overall not end of the world and definitely will visit again

Idealic break

The annex was fabulous. A home from home exceptionally clean, comfortable, with everything you could want for a relaxing break. The views were wonderful and ones you would want to wake up to every morning 😊

Fantastic location, lovely and quiet with a local shop and pub nearby. Right by a public footpath which was great for dog walking. Everything in the annex we needed. Fabulous grounds and views.

Beautiful property but few a issues need dealing with.

The location is perfect in beautiful surroundings on the outskirts of Holmfirth. The Annexe is very cosy spacious.

The property itself was beautiful however we had issues with the smoke alarm going off when we put the log fire on or when cooking/ grilling certain foods which consequently we received a knock on the door from the owner’s questioning us on what was happening? We followed all guidelines in the welcome book but the smoke alarm’s still went off. This caused us to feel anxious & slightly stressed as the owners are directly below you in the building and didn’t want the alarm to go off again so we did not light the fire or use the grill on the cooker again which was a shame.

Absolutely a beautiful property and the annexe was perfect and spotlessly clean. They had thought of everything, and a perfect location with a 15-20 min walk into town.

Would have preferred a kingsize bed only because we are both tall but it will not stop us from returning, everything else was perfect.

Relaxing stay in a picturesque location in a VERY cosy house. We did not want to leave!

We loved everything about our stay! The house is spacious, warm and welcoming, the view and the garden are stunning! And to top things up - Claire and Alan are extremely welcoming and accommodating! We did a lot of walking outdoors in local area, but we also loved our mornings in the garden, listening to the birds! This is once of the most relaxing and beautiful places I stayed in the last few years - you can see that the hosts take a great care of the garden and the house.
