Great wedding anniversary holiday.

Lovely clean, modern cottage. Everything to hand and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom and shower was light and clean and had good storage. The kitchen was well equipped and we didn't want for anything. Katie and Mark were lovely people to meet and very friendly. We would love to go back next year and are looking forward to it. 😍😍🥂

The only reason I didn't give a 10, was the long steep hill up to the cottage. This felt worse as there was another long steep hill to get to the road to the cottage. I would imagine most Yorkshire people are used to it, but as we came from flat ground it was a bit of a shock, we did get used to it and it was a good cardio workout.😂

Great cottage

Mark and Katie's, Bramble cottage was perfect for our week holiday,we used it as a base to explore Holmfirth and the surrounding areas. The cottage was spotless, well furnished and had everything you needed. Be aware it is at the top of a steep footpath although me and the wife are in our sixties and it was ok for us. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Charming cottage near the Peak District

Charming cottage with stunning views, a short stroll into the town & immaculately clean. The gas fireplace made it lovely and cosy, and it was really handy to have a parking space just outside. The bed was very comfy.

Great cottage stay, just a short walk into Holmfirth

Super clean and cosy cottage very close to Holmfirth village centre which has plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Bramble cottage has plenty of space for a couple, including a warm gas fire, well equipped kitchen, smart tv, and LOTS of original features throughout (exposed beams, brickwork and more). If driving, you'll find the cottage up a steep hill with parking right outside, or on a main street just 3mins walk away. We visited during new year and loved our stay with our dog. Holmfirth has plenty to offer!

Great location with nice views. Some people may find parking a bit difficult but the owner very kindly offered us his car space and it's no problem to park on main road!

The cottage was immaculately clean, really cosy and relaxing. It was fully equipped with everything you would need.

It is a steep walk to the cottage from the town which might not be convenient for certain people but it was fine for us.

Lovely cottage. Shame it's at the top of everest.

The terrain was extremely steep and hilly. Not suitable for elderly or infirm guests. This should be made clear on any brochure.

Cosy cottage in fabulous location

The cottage is newly refurbished so feels incredibly clean and fresh, which is lovely. Very comfortable and cosy, with good facilities. The location is great for easy walking access to Holmfirth with views over the valley whilst being totally quiet. Lovely owners who are next door and will help with anything you need.

We found the cottage very hot so would suggest adjusting the radiators and feather duvet/pillows would help with heat regulation in the night too.
