Quiet location but very close to town centre. Has own parking. High standard of decor. Lots extras included - picnic basket of cutlery etc , milk and orange juice in fridge
Not easy to wash up- only bathroom sink. Non slip mat for shower would be good

Cathy and George are very welcoming hosts. The Lodge is beautifully decorated and furnished. Cathy and George had thought of every little detail. It was very kind of them to leave delicious home made cakes. The Lodge is also in a central location, within walking distance of all local eateries, bars and shops. We have already booked to go back. We would strongly recommend the property and Holmfirth. This is by far the nicest place we have stayed at. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.
