A fantastic venue cannot recommend it enough

Wonderful large room with a comfortable bed. Very quiet and near to town the facilities were excellent. The bathroom was superb. Stacy was a very welcoming host. No complaints at all.

Spotlessly clean, the host Stacey was very welcoming. We stayed for a one nighter to watch a band at the Picturedrome, the location is just a short walk to the town centre

Wonderful large room with possibly the nicest bathroom I have ever had as a guest. Lovely view, comfortable bed, exceptional furnishings. Stacey is a friendly and accommodating host . Would totally recommend .

Just what we needed

The location was perfect... a stones throw from the centre. Accommodation was just perfect, lovely and clean, comfortable bed and we loved the tea and coffee facilities. Recommend - large and lovely room!

What a wonderful find! Not too far up the hill on the way out of Holmfirth is a wonderful room with an unexpectedly stylish bathroom hosted by Stacey. Stacey is warm, friendly and easy to contact and she went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. The room is large with a lovely view and the bonus is you're allowed to use internet TV (Netflix etc) whilst you're there. Will stay again!

Excellent stay to explore the Peak Distract

The room is certainly outstanding with an amazing bathroom to match (has both a bath and separate shower) It's important to note that the room with ensuite bathroom is in separate part of the property. The only part you share (should you wish to) is the kitchen and store room with fridge/freezer. The host Stacey goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. Parking is really easy and I parked directly outside the property for the duration of my stay.

The well worn stone access steps are indeed quite tricky and wouldn't suite anyone with an unstable disposition - although they do add to the charm of the property

Knowing there was a cat in/around the house - although they don't go into the bedroom. Although we were told on arrival, it would have bee nice to know before as my girlfriend is allergic and would have taken tablets.

Location is super, there is no breakfast but there is tea and coffee in the room and the kitchen can be used if necessary. Beautiful furnishing in rooms in oriental style and the host is charming and helpful. Entrance to the property is via steep steps so not good for mobility challenged guests

A lovely stay with a great host; so much so that we booked it again.

A lovely room right in the middle of Holmfirth. The room was at the back of the property and the only noise we heard was the sound of the river and the birds. The shower and bath room is really wow and the photographs don't do it justice. The bed was comfortable and we both slept really well. The stone mullioned windows were the main feature of the room and felt really special. The window gave lots of light, overlooked the back garden and the river beyond and up the opposite bank was a pretty wooded hillside. We really like Holmfirth and found all of the people we met very friendly, kind and courteous. The main purpose for our stay was to attend a 'gig' at the Holmfirth Picturedome which was a pleasant 10 minute walk from where we were staying, what a great venue and a great night out. We liked the stay so much we have booked it again.
