A nice cosy niche ideal for an overnight stay
Very quaint and cosy room with a friendly host. Bathroom facilities were excellent.
There was a steep flight of steps to go down to access the rear of the property which would be tricky for anyone less mobile but wasn’t an issue for us.

Warm, comfortable, excellent location.
Lovely good sized comfortable room. Fab bathroom with excellent sized shower cubicle + separate bath. No issues parking, easy walk into centre of Holmfirth - more energetic uphill on the way back.
Nothing not to like. Just be aware, as per the description that the stone access steps are steep.

A beautifully furnished large room near the centre of Holmfirth
We had a wonderful one night stay here, while we attended a concert at The Picturedrome and everything was perfect. Free parking on the road nearby, a short walk into the town and a beautiful large room. The room had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed, a sofa, TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a nice view from the window. The bathroom was very large, with a huge shower and a bath as well. The decor and furnishings were beautiful and clearly a lot of thought had gone into what was there. Stacey was lovely and was there to greet us and was very friendly and helpful. The room was very good value for money and we would definitely stay there again.
Not a problem for us, but anyone with impaired mobility, may struggle to get up and down the steep stone steps to the house.

Lovely room, would definitely go again.
It was really handy for the centre of Holmfirth. The bathroom was huge, I've never seen such a large shower tray, plus a separate bath. The bed was really comfy and listening to the stream was relaxing.
The only thing I would mention for future travellers is that there are quite a number of stairs which need careful negotiation. Just the nature of the property.
