Beautiful property with a very friendly, informative and helpful owner 😊

It’s very difficult to give full marks because it is obviously highly subjective; however we loved the property, loved its location and surroundings, the landlady went to great lengths to provide comforts (tea, coffee, snacks etc) . We are lifelong fans of Last of the Summer Wine and Holmfirth was the setting for much of the series; as an added bonus there was a band we love on at the picturedrome during our stay , which was the icing on the cake. Everything is within easy walking distance, including restaurants, bars and all the Last of the Summer Wine landmarks. We will absolutely be back 😎😊

There was nothing we didn’t like; I feel like I should say that there is no Parking immediately outside the property, as you have to park on the road and down climb a flight of steps; this is by no means a criticism however it could be a barrier if your mobility is limited. Otherwise, please condition your expectations accordingly and understand that the property is in a Yorkshire valley in a millworkers town and therefore expect some steep bits, you will not be disappointed !

Lovely overnight stay in a beautiful cosy cottage

A lovely cosy cottage, nice touches a variety of teas and coffees sweets chocolates and biscuits! also lots of toiletries to choose from.Every room was spotlessly clean. Fully stocked kitchen In a central position.

Lovely clean cottage, ideal location to with quick access to restaurants and bars. The very friendly hosts Mandy and David bent over backwards to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Comfy cottage, value for money, good location but steps down to cottage steep

Warm and cosy. Beautifully maintained and quality furnishings

The road to the property is narrow and with a large car should not be attempted. Better to park on the main road and walk as it’s not far. The steps down to the cottage were slippery as raining and extremely steep.

Unfortunately for me the location was not so good as I have mobility problems. That being said, it's the nature of the landscape, not the fault of the property.

Magical cottage in the heart of Holmfirth!

The cottage is in an excellent location in the heart of Holmfirth to explore from. Well appointed throughout, the host has thought of everything to make for a wonderful stay. Beautiful front room with hanging light fireplace, great bathroom and bedroom with a super comfortable bed! Such a cozy and comfortable place to stay. Wonderful communication from host. Highly recommended!!

A real cosy cottage with tasteful modern decor. Immaculately presented and spotless throughout. A very comfortable bed and a basket of essential toiletries if you forgot things like we did. Location just 2 minutes walk from the town centre.

Superb cottage in a beautiful location. Very impressive! Beautifully appointed with everything you need. The cottage is spotlessly clean. It is quirky, cosy and inviting. Super comfy king-size bed with soft, good quality bedding. We slept like logs.The well equipped kitchen is lovely. The milk, tea, coffee and little treats were greatly appreciated. Good shower! Mandy's attention to detail really shines through. Excellent communication from Mandy, especially what3words. Loved our stay and will definitely be back.
