Expensive for what it was

Location, on street parking wasn’t a problem but something to bear in mind. We were meant to be camping but needed a last minute apartment because of storm warning.

Shower, hob a bit old and slow. Water coming through ceiling into lounge iver night which we had to clear up.

Functional, closer to youth hostel motif.

There was no breakfast except for instant coffee. The location was convenient to the ferry and everything else in the town.

There was nothing homey or welcoming about the place. The owners seemed most interested in reminding us that we get out on time which we did. A flower, piece of candy, note saying, "Welcome," could have brightened up the place. We even had to buy toilet paper. The twin beds were more mattresses on the floor and thus a little more difficult for an older person.

Very nice comfortable flat.

Spacious, comfortable rooms, excellent television provision and all the materials needed for a short stay (even down to a tin of WD40 which we used to fix a squeaky door). The little TV room for the kids was something they really enjoyed. The location of the flat was ideal for the town centre, bus stops and ferry.

A bit of traffic noise but nothing to keep you awake. Shower set up not great. Street could do with a good sweep but that’s down to the Council not the owner. Overall would still be very happy to stay again.

Lovely little abode

Lovely flat with generous storage space, which is cleverly used. Comfortable seating in the living room and the bed also good. Spotlessly clean.

I missed the fact it was dog friendly and on second floor. . However, the flat was very clean and with my antihistamine, I didn't have any problems. Also, a really lovely neighbour helped my elderly husband with our bags. So very kind.

Great wee base for exploring Rothesay/ Bute. A home from home for a family.

Great location, Spotlessly clean, Good WiFi, TVs were good (pre loaded with Netflix etc) Games Consoles for the kids, we enjoyed a shot of the Wii.

Lack of some kitchen utensils, colander, dish drying rack, cafetière, bread knife, egg cups. No spare toilet roll. Poor pillows and mattresses. No towel rails in bathroom. No clothes hanging facilities in front bedroom.

Perfect

This property has everything you could possibly need. We took our 6 year old and 18 year old so wifi, Amazon, Netflix, Xbox, games etc were a real bonus when we weren’t out and about exploring the beautiful island. It was warm and cosy and exceptionally clean. Will definitely be back!

Hosts very quick to answer queries. Flat was spotless clean and in perfect location and walking distance to ferry terminal, shops bars etc. Every precaution taken for social distancing, hand masks, handwipes etc all in property for use. They covered everything. Will certainly look up Our Wee Getaway for next time.
