A wonderful experience!

The apt. was in the old part of the city, with charming and authentic atmopshere, close to all the restaurants, the starting point for the trail and close to the smaller beach and ferry. Simona our host was the swetest and kindest host, helpful and most generous.

Lovely stay in a cozy, home-like apartment typical to the region

Our host was very welcoming, amiable, and helpful! She could be reached at all times via Whatsapp. The apartment is located in the centre of the town, convenient for short trips to the shops and restaurants. Not far from the beaches. The house is on a quiet, peaceful street. The apartment was very clean and sufficiently equipped.

No air conditioning. However, there were pedestal fans in each room! In June—July the kitchen fridge could not sufficiently cool items like milk or butter. For tall and robust travellers it’s good to know that the shower booth is quite small and the door to the booth is narrow. Reaching the apartment requires ascending a long, steep flight of stairs.

Picturesque location minutes walk to the beautiful beach, restaurants and cafes.

Location was like from a fairy tale storybook, winding small streets and alleys, close to restaurants and cafes. Walking distance to the beautiful beach!

Unfortunately we went during record heat waves and the fans barely made a dent in cooling us.

Wonderful, cultural experience that I will never forget.

It was so wonderful to stay at this home. Driving through so much of Italy with CVS fortress villages, and when we stayed in this home, it was like being in one of those villages. The windows open out where you can see the other houses connected and put your clothes out to dry on the clothesline. It was such a cultural experience. It wasn’t fancy, but it was the real Italian culture. It was my favorite place that we stayed at in all of our travel through Italy. Our host was super nice and so sweet.

The weather was very good for us, and we even had a little rain, but if it’s hot, there’s no air-conditioning.

The location was amazing in Monterosso Old Town. Interesting property with character. The host, Simona, was lovely and helped us to bring our luggage up the steps to the apartment. The accommodation served our purpose perfectly.
