Great location near Stelvio Pass

Great views. Dinner was "fixed price" for several courses...it was really good but a lot of food.

Disappointed & deceived.

Stated there was a restaurant but only a set menu was available for dinner. Basic buffet breakfast, not a 4 star hotel breakfast. NO, facilities we're available, die to renovation works which were ongoing.

We especially booked a 4 Star hotel for my daughters birthday with Spa facilities & a swimming pool, none of which were available , we were not informed of this until the day of arrival. Therefore very disappointing!! not happy & do not like to be deceived. Trying to park your car was chaos , not enough parking as the work on the renovation had taken over !

Quiet remote from shops/ bars/ restaurants. At moment in construction; minimal disturbance but still limited parking and small access road blocked with moments.

Host provided garage parking for my motorbike. Location, at the foot of the Stelvio is excellent.

all literature provided at Hotel was in Italian/German. no English language literature. All TV stations on the provided TV were either German or Italian, and could not adjust language via subtitles/ or audio to English as the TVs are very old models and dont have that capability. no iron in bedroom (needed one for a shirt i needed for a wedding).

Might be the best for the area, but would have expected more.

Breakfast was pretty basic. Dinner was a little over the top, but good for the most part.

The rooms were nothing special and for a 4 start hotel you would have expected a little more value. There is really no where to park and when we arrived there was no one to greet us. We had to go in the kitchen and get a cook to check us in and tell us where to park. The sink also broken in our room and did not drain.

Up and down to Stelvio

On the street to Passo Stelvio, perfect location inside the mountains, love the food and breakfast. All the facilities are child friendly with a complitly new room only for them. We got the half board that realy make our experiance the best.

Pleasant

Excellent location for whoever is interested in the mountains / Stelvio - loved the views. Very comforable beds, good quality, decent-sized rooms. Limited (i.e. tight) but sufficient parking space.

The breakfasts have zero vegetables and other food items are not replenished - once something disappears it disappears (if you want the full selection eat early). The evening meal is unreasonably large - it's a 5 course meal and we never lasted till desert. Personally, I also didn't like the obligation to sit at the same table for the whole stay, but maybe others will find it convenient.

Superb

The room was really lovely and comfortable and the staff were friendly. The food was really good and great value for money plus the facilities at the hotel with the pool and outdoor decking for drinks was great

The only thing was we brought our dog as the rooms are dog friendly however he wasn't allowed in the restaurant area so he had to go in the car

We found a room with a central view of the beautiful mountains, also the table in the restaurant had such a view. The hotel has a swimming pool with warm water, also a very good sauna. A wonderful host interested in guests. Delicious food (dinner option - we recommend it), very good breakfast. Everything is great.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the valley at the end of the Stelvio Pass. Cool design, traditional from the outside, modern inside. Food was very very good. We'll be back.

Terrible waste of time and an extremely poor experience.

Considering my son was ill from the altitude and we had to leave earlier than expected the owner and.his daughter were completely not understanding. Incredibly rude, not.concerned, and greedy. They would not refund 4 nights. Grumpy, rude, and should not be in the hospitality business. I have never encountered such rude staff. The location has nothing to offer. There are no cafes, nothing to do. Stay in Bormio with the Italians who are far more gracious and hospitable than the Tyrolleans! This should NOT BE A FOUR STAR HOTEL considering the amenities and rooms are just okay. The dinner is nothing special (considering it is in Italy although they refuse to speak Italian) and you have the awful owner Jospeh and his daughter to deal with. Oh and if want something to snack on outside of dinner, good luck! They put the goddam pretzels and nuts away if they see you snacking on them!! This is just type of place this is! A goddam facade! Stay clear and Joseph, YOU SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS.

We had a room with a wonderful view on the mountains. We loved the room! Hotel was very clean and everybody from the staff was nice a helpful. Room for bicycles was also OK. Location was great to climb the Stelvio and the sauna and pool was perfect for the regenaration. We enjoyed our stay!
