View, potentially lovely studio

Overall needed tlc & better bed & bedding. Quite basic facilities. Bathroom small & shower difficult to get in shower. We went in sideways through door.

Beautiful sea views with great hiking

keys were waiting on arrival - it doesn't get any easier the view out to sea was just amazing, and the decking outside with chairs (and the blankets provided) made it lovely to sit out there at at any time of day/night when it was dry liked being able to join the southwest coast path - stunning walking it's a long slog all the way up very steep incline from the beachfront back to the property - we enjoyed the exercise but there should probably be a warning for anyone not in great health!

kitchen facilities not so great. Hard to keep drinks cold (fridge door has poor storage) and plug-in electric hob was very basic as were pots & pans (only the tiniest frying pan, only one reasonable saucepan) and knives were all blunt. Question the wisdom of having a large electronic device/router plugged in just above the sink. Luckily plenty of options for eating out: great fresh fish and seafood in Lyme Regis!

A comfortable and enjoyable stay in a great location.

Great location - beautiful view and walkable to the town. We had everything we needed for a short stay. Lovely to meet Gail, the owner, who gave us a very friendly welcome.

It wasn't an issue for us, but there are quite a few steps up to the property which I don't recall being mentioned in the description, which might be a slight problem for others.

Beautiful accommodation with stunning sea views

The accommodation was lovely and bigger than it appears in the photos. The views were perfect and it was very comfortable and all you need for you holiday stay. The host was very helpful and explained the best places to eat out and how to use the short cut to the sea front. Our tolws were changed in the middle of the week, so we were both very happy with the service

PERFECT BREAK. PERFECT HOST

It was our pleasure to stay in such a lovely, scenic, quiet, and spotless holiday home. We really enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed was provided, and a most comfy bed to get a good night sleep.. Gail, you are the perfect host, making us feel so welcome, and you certainly enriched our stay. I also thank Hamish for all the cuddles too! We cannot wait to come back. A first class property. Set in beautiful garden. The bi-folding doors from the property led onto a balcony with stunning views overlooking the sea.

Views and peace & quiet Don't underestimate the walk back from Lyme Regis, it is very steep. Lyme Regis is beautiful.

No real cooking facilities (no oven). Steep steps from road side to accommodation. Shower room and cubicle access is very small. TV needed to be re-tuned everytime it was used.

Lovely view, although a steep walk home each time. More of a summer place I think.

Self catering but it was easy to make breakfast which was all we needed to do.

Luckily the weather was not very cold, but I think once the temperature drops, it will feel very cold in the property.

Lovely place to stay, wonderful host, but a few issues that require attention for premium pricing.

We had a wonderful 3 night break in Lyme Regis and loved the incredible views from this studio apartment. Communications were excellent and we parked easily at the property. Gail welcomed us on arrival and made us feel very at home. Whilst the studio is on the property of Gail's cottage, it is very self-contained and private. The floor to ceiling windows across the front of the studio and the large balcony meant that we were always able to enjoy the view. The studio itself was spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and generally very comfortable. There were a few issues that need some attention (discussed below) but for our purposes, the studio was excellent.

If we had been paying typical AirBnB prices, the following would not have concerned us. However, at c.£170 per night, the following are issues that really do require some attention: - no central heating - just a small plug-in heater that took a few hours to heat the living area adequately (October visit, it was 13C outside). It did not give instant heat (as a fan heater would) and so we came in cold one evening and took a long time to warm up. We would not want to stay there in winter. There is no heating in the bathroom. - the flat screen tv is positioned above the kitchen area and is too small to watch comfortably from the sofas. Fortunately we took an Ipad and relaxed in the evening on the sofas with that on our laps. However... - the internet is extremely poor: barely good enough to load a web page in Google and certainly not capable of streaming anything. Consequently we had to use the hotspot on our phones - but given the location, one of our networks did not have a good enough signal. Fortunately, O2 was fine.

Lovely sea views, comfortable accommodation

Great location, really enjoyed the sea view and the large terrace. The decor was modern and everything was clean. Plenty of towels, cutlery and crockery. We appreciated that the property was on a private road and that it was easy to park nearby.

Not suitable if you don’t like steps, as access is via a staircase.

Amazing stay with a wonderful view

Conveniently located, only ten mins walk into the main town and beach. A great sea view and comfortable place. Staff were also wonderful and communicative and loved the provided completely essentials to start us off.

Well appointed apartment with great sea views, private space and a large terrace to relax on.

Perfect location in Lyme. Although it is higher up the hill, lovely walk down to the sea and town; Parking was easy, the car didn’t move during the stay. Access to the SW Coast path, so plenty of walks available. The apartment is well appointed, with an excellent welcome pack to get you started. Super comfortable bed and bedding, catering facilities, fridge and freezer. Friendly welcome on arrival from Gail. Private, with a terrace looking out over the sea. We will return!

Stunning View

View was beautiful, lovely terrace. Bed and sofa very comfortable. Most of the facilities were decent and the host was helpful with information. Overall our stay was a very pleasant one.

WiFi connection was poor. Lovely terrace but outdoor seating not comfortable. Cooking facilities were limited. Some of furniture was a little tired which I wouldn’t have expected for the price charged.

Beautiful Accommodation with incredible views overlooking gorgeous Lyme Regis.

The views from the terrace were breathtaking. The property was located in a great area within easy walking distance of the centre of Lyme Regis and beach.

Wifi could have been a bit better.
