One of our most memorable summer vacations.

We enjoyed every aspect of this property. Its remoteness, tranquility, and the beautiful views of the hills and lake are truly remarkable. Additionally, the property is conveniently located near scenic lakes, rivers, castles, and woodland walks in Leitrim, Cavan, and Enniskillen. There are plenty of activities for anglers and boating enthusiasts, as well as excellent dining options in Ballinamore and Carrick-on-Shannon.

Pretty, peaceful, remote yet very accesible.

Host met us on arrival, quick tour of lovely bungalow, has everything you need. Beautiful views, very peaceful, quiet and secluded. Exactly what we needed.

A gem of a place!

House is excellent. Lovely private secluded area that was really great for our dog. Everything is there that you'd need and Paraic was extremely good to deal with. Its a very peaceful and quiet location overlooking the lake. We sat out in the evening which was wonderful. Couldn't recommend it more. A gem of a place. Big tesco only a 10 min drive away. Quiet roads for nice walks too.

Great getaway place in peaceful surroundings.

Lovely, clean and well-equipped property with a fabulous view in a very quiet location. The rooms are spacious and there is plenty of garden space for your four-legged buddy. It was warm and cosy and the host had the heating on for us when we arrived. The view was beautiful especially at sunrise.

The remote location might not be to everyone’s liking.

Excellent stay in a scenic and quiet location. Five people fit very comfortably

The property is excellent, has every facility you would need. Comfortable and in a very quiet location at the end of a cul de sac. It was great to bring our doggy with us. Good communication with the owner, Paraic, who was at the property to meet us with the keys and show us around. The property looks on to Black Lough and the hills beyond, scenic.

We were a group of five and everyone loved the property, just a feeling for one/two that it was a bit remote.

This was an absolute slice of heaven. Immaculate house, incredible views, perfect privacy and a wonderful host. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, it far exceeded our expectations. My two little dogs loved it as well. Thank you, Paraic, you were a star!

Peaceful & comfortable stay

We loved staying here and hope to come back again soon!. The house is located in a peaceful location with a great view of the nearby lake. You will have all you need for a self catering break and everything seemed brand new. It was great to go out exploring during the day and come back to such a comfortable home. Thanks Paraic!

We had a great stay. Such a lovely house and dog friendly which was a bonus for us. Nice and quite what we wanted Shops etc just a short drive . Would definitely recommend this house to anyone. John and Margaret both lovely friendly people.

Lovely Cottage

We had a lovely break at John & Margarets cottage, Paraic was very helpful and a terrific host, the cottage was clean and had everything we needed, a car is required, the location is in a lovely spot over looking Black Lough, it is very peaceful just what we needed to relax from our busy lives👍😊
