Great accommodation, but could be amazing.

The beds and the amount of space, including the proximity to the town. The host was lovely too and attended the apartment very fast when we arrived.

One toilet didn't flush (1st Floor), the oven wouldn't heaten, and there was left over rubbish behind bedside cabinets (dirty tissues). Doors were unimaginably squeekey and noisey at night and some plugs were physically broken.. Basic complimentary amenities were not available i.e. clean fresh dish cloth, dish brush, or at least one dishwasher tab. Instead, we had a wet and used sponge. Not expensive things, but they make a huge difference to a 2 night stay.

House overlooking the marina

The position of the property was great looking onto the marina and within walking distance of the town facilities. It was nice and quiet. The owner greeted us and moved us into a different property when he knew my husband was a fisherman. The house he moved us to had a balcony over the river Shannon, so that he could fish off the balcony.

There were too many beds in the main bedroom, the double bed was up against the window, so you couldn't get out of bed on that side. The kitchen units needed updating as the laminate was peeling off.

Lovely row home that is well suited for a family.

The location is great and parking was easy. The layout of having three floors suited our family well especially since there is a toilet on each floor. There was plenty of room to spread out.

It was hard to get the towels to dry out each day as there were only hooks or a towel ring. We ended up using hangars for our work around.

We had a lovely stay

Philip was a lovely host. The apartment was perfect with fabulous views over the water. Clean and comfortable, great location, just a few minutes walk into town. Great value for money. Very spacious

You'll have to bring your own shower gel, shampool etc and washing powder, dishwasher tabs

Relaxing getaway in a lovely apartment

Location was brilliant. Walking distance to town and eateries and the marina was across the road for a lovely walk around

Just a couple of ideas that would have made our stay easier. If basic things like coffee, tea, sugar and long life milk pods were provided, it would have been wonderful. We headed straight to a supermarket to sort that out so no big problem but just some feedback.

OK for what we paid.

Excellent location, house was warm, clean and welcoming. Downstairs is modern enough.

Upstairs is outdated. Shower in main bathroom didn't work, no forks, very little delph for the amount of people being accommodated , no blind on the velux windows in either house, camp bed in the room for 5, as the fifth bed, but no space to put it. Rusted bin in bathroom. Nearly all of the towels had stains (tan/makeup). No freezer in the second house. All little things I know, but collectively they made the houses less attractive.

Carrick is a lovely town, and the property is in a great spot to enjoy it to the full.

The property is in a very good location, with a lovely view of the river, and very close to the train station and the airport bus stop. There is parking close to the property, although we did not use this as we did the easy walk from the station. The property is well furnished, and very comfortable, equipped with everything you would need. The host was lovely, very helpful. This is our second visit, and we will be back!

Superb location by the waterfront in the centre of town close to all pubs and restaurants. Really spacious and room for large groups. Well equipped. Fabulously friendly hosts. Second visit and we will be back soon! Free parking an absolute bonus!

Lovely Scenic Stay

Lovely location on the waterfront and in the town, walking distance from everything. Very friendly and helpful owner who gave lots of information about the local area. The kids loved waving to the boats as they went by our balcony. Apartment had all facilities.
