Instructions re cooker , hob & oven markings not very clear ?? booklet would be better 👍 Not advised re electric meter prior to arrival! Worked well eventually when had coins ! Couches looked lovely but not very comfortable

Has 4 bedrooms but not really big enough to host 8 people (small kitchen table, only one shower, not enough sitting spaces in the lounge). You have to pay additionally for electricity (there is a top up machine in the laundry room). The property is quite dated.

The electricity went off while making breakfast and we had to top up with our own money. They also did not reply to the email I sent. There was also no information for the heating system and the hob is not very good. The dog next door was barking all night which disturbed our sleep.

Nice place to stay in Blacklion. It’s worth the price.

The unit was bright and modern. The pictures online don’t do it justice. Lots of beds. Tankless hot water for shower. Unit came with a washer and dryer, which is a real bonus. The washer had been disconnected while renovations were done, but not hooked up again. Ena, our contact, went above and beyond, washing our clothes in her own washing machine. The place is in walking distance of two local towns, which contain coffee shop, restauarant, pharmacy, pub. Lovely walking trails nearby. Kkitchen was well supplied with utensils. Ena left us a few snacks and milk to start us off. There is parking for one car, although you could manage two small cars.

Being unfamiliar with foreign electrical systems, we couldn’t get everything to work right when Ena wasn’t around. The dryer kept saying the lint trap needed cleaning, even though we cleaned it. I forgot to tell Ena before we left. These are not really negatives. I would stay there again.

Basic base in a good location

Host was very friendly

Cleanliness could have been better, there were lots of dead spiders in cobwebs. Furniture was very old fashioned.
