Bit of a trek from car park to the rooms, even using the lift need to carry luggage or groceries up stairs. Room doors are very heavy and 7 year old couldn't open them himself. Otherwise accommodation was comfortable and clean, with spectacular views.

Nowhere in the property description says this is a dorm room. Spartan at best. No one at check in that knew what to do, manager had left for the weekend and couldn’t be reached. No one at the “light breakfast “ area at 8:30 even though breakfast was promised from 8-10 a.m.

We booked family appartment. The location is beautiful beside a lake and 10min from Sligo (though view marred by some portakabins).Appartments very good condition. One issue - the room doors have very strong springs so they slam shut VERY nosily all the time -ony negative. All the staff are E. European. Mattress a bit soft.

Lovely location on Lough Gill and only a short drive into Sligo Town. Was disappointed with the service of some of the staff who were quite abrupt and not very helpful. Edward the maintenance worker was very friendly and did a good job in fixing a broken window frame.

I had a disappointing stay at this hotel. The room was infested with bugs, which made it impossible to relax. Additionally, the furniture was outdated and worn, with creaky beds and chipped tables that looked decades old. The overall experience felt unclean and neglected. The only good thing was a gorgeous view of a lake.

Great family stay, a little dated but overall very nice. Rooms were comfortable and apartment was very spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Some nice trails nearby and stunning views. Close by to Sligo and other areas, plus regular bus if you want to leave the car

Used it as a base for a few days to explore Sligo. Staff were helpful, the on site shop was handy for items. The apartment was great with superb views of the lake. Beds were comfortable, the apartment had all the essentials.

The apartments are a really decent size. Good internet, also have amazing views of the lakes. Only issues are that there's not much around, Sligo is a 10 minute drive away, but the local onsite shop has essentials and staff are really helpful. TV was pretty slow to respond to the remote, but kitchen was well stocked.

Luxury is a far stretch, but the unit was clean and roomy enough for comfort. Kitchen is minimally equipped, so check what's available before grocery shopping, but they provide most essential cooking items. View over the lake was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall happy with my stay.

Fantastic view of Louch Gill from our 3 bedroom apartment. Good size and all the required utilities in the kitchen. Shower was excellent and towels changed daily. Plenty of parking. Had a university hall of residence feel, which was expected and a nice change from hotel rooms.

Next time would aim for higher floor apartment to get a better view. First floor was facing the reception and could not see the lake. But this is just a small nitpick. Lovely staff, clean apartment, warm and a plenty of space for kids.

Should be kept as students rentals only or else give the place an uplift, a more welcoming look and host's more welcoming not just eager for our money!!

I am giving 5 stars because I don't want anyone to be discouraged from staying at this great place but please read my comments in full. The apartments are excellent. I stayed with my family in a 3 bedroom unit and it was brilliant. Three en-suite double bedrooms and a lovely kitchen/dining/living area. Management and staff are excellent and no request is too much trouble to them. Housekeeping is efficient and all internal areas are spotlessly clean. All of this said and without reducing my 5 stars I have to comment on the external appearance of the apartment buildings. If I had called speculatively to check this place out then on the external appearance of the buildings I would have left and never considered booking there. Rendered walls are badly in need of a few coats of quality exterior paint and the metal roofing, guttering and down pipes are badly in need of cleaning to remove algae and weeds. It is such a stark contrast. Inside wonderful but outside very worn looking. I hope that the people controlling the purse strings at St Angela's attend to the building exteriors to ensure that the description of luxury apartments is deserved inside and out.

Beautiful setting and only a short drive from Sligo Town Centre. Very clean and comfortable. Clean towels provided every day. Wifi good with Netflix available on TV.

We were very impressed in how we were looked after. On arriving there was a mix up with the booking. Jeremiah and his staff pull out all the stops and got a room ready for. He was more than generous in dealing with us. The apt. Location is fantastic and the views across Lough Gill are amazing. There is a beautiful forest walk. It's only a short trip to Sligo town. Great places to eat and visit. All in all a top place with great staff. Their hospitality is very much appreciated.
