Quiet area but washing & cooking facilities not up to standard of the cost

The area around the cottage is quiet & peaceful & a 10 minute drive to Super Value & also 5 star fun for the kids

The oven was disgustingly dirty, greasy & smelly & took an hour & a half to try to clean it as no oven cleaner, only a wipe down spray & 1 jay cloth. No pressure with hot water taps & hot runs out very quickly. Only 1 toilet as en-suite in main bedroom was locked, so not ideal for 6 people staying. The shower was pretty useless as just no pressure with it & running a bath there was not enough hot water. The log burner was broken & had used tissues in it & there was some rubbish left in bin in kitchen. Included in the price is a €60 cleaning fee, well they need to sack the cleaners & we would not stay here again

Perfect location for us as we were visiting family in Cliffoney. Lovely quiet location but close to shops etc by car. Nice secure area and very comfortable accommodation. We would book again.

The bathroom felt very tired ,shower didn’t work could do with a refit Kitchen cupboards/drawers struggled to open Knives very blunt , could do with more knives cooking utensils We didn’t use log burner but wouldn’t have wanted to as high fire risk ( we fit these for a living in uk)

The shower was useless. Bathroom needs to be refurbished. The toilet bowl and seat need replacing . The bedroom furnishings were basic and incomplete. No hairdryer Snail and slugs in main bedroom. Hand held vacuum was filthy. Flooring and skirting boards needed a good clean Rental overpriced for standard of property.

Great place to stay... quiet, spacious, and clean yet close enough to a range of amenities. Beautiful scenic part of the world. I would definitely recommend this property and look forward to staying again.

Amazing location to recharge the batteries and enjoy the outstanding coast of Sligo.

We loved the location, we wanted somewhere remote and near the coast where we could switch off for a few days and this was the perfect location.

Nice location but...

Beautiful quiet rural location. Close to sea and all major attractions.

Mirror positioned too high in bathroom. No bath mat. Shower was a mere trickle. Couches filthy (see picture). One with broken springs and positioned against a wall and my son whacked his head on the wall when he sat down on it. No microwave despite being clearly listed in facilities. Owner ignored my two attempts to query this. No mirrors in any bedroom for make up applications or hair styling. Very impractical with teenagers. One mirror hanging over a door facing into hall. House full of spiders. Kitchen cutlery drawer a hazard to open [mentioned in other reviews). Bedroom doors sticking. Needs a good clean and bathroom needs updating. Our clothes felt cold and damp so house clearly needs attention. No instructions on how to use the heating system. An iron and ironing board would be useful.

A relaxing and tranquil break in a beautiful part of the Wild Atlantic Way

Lislary Cottage is a perfect location for exploring North Sligo. We had tremendous walks on Streedagh, Mullaghmore and Ardtermon beaches. The nearest beach was a 5-minute walk down a beautiful country lane. I really appreciated the coffee machine for my morning brew.

It would have been ideal if we'd been able to bring our dog. I would have been happy to pay an additional cleaning charge. The cooker hob used touch sensitive controls and they took a little getting used to.

The house was very clean when we arrived . The size of the property and number of bedrooms is great, plenty of space.

Only one bathroom, and unfortunately it was not of good standard. The shower in the bath was dreadful, and very little water pressure. Toilet was very badly stained. It was a shame bathroom en suite was not available to use. I feel for the price of this property, the standard of the bathroom should be a lot better. Shame. You also need to repair door handles and door in main bedroom does not close fully. Nee pillows are needed!!

Quiet location. Clean house. Comfortable beds

Bathroom facilities, especially the shower was very poor for so many of us. It really let the house down. We had to shower in another house that other family members had rented. No outdoor play activities for kids even though there is a super garden. No outdoor bbq space. The house then seemed expensive for the facilities. Our family rented 3km away and the difference in accomodation was astounding, and they paid less so we were disappointed to be honest.

The perfect little cottage. We had a lovely couple of days here. Comfortable and warm. Really easy to check in and check out. Everything was straight forward, with great correspondence from the hosts. Great location for some exploring. A short drive to lots of pubs and places to eat. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect. The rooms were clean, bright and comfortably furnished. We had repeatedly contact to our hosts and could have any help we wished. Keys were transferred without any problems. We are goint to stay there again. Very helpful are the directions !

Amazing cottage, would be a great place for an extended stay. Mel was very nice when he met us there and didn't seem to mind waiting while we sorted out the location.

This place is so cozy & comfortable. It’s the perfect location for touring the north west. It has everything you need and more.

We hebben ons prima vermaakt, de omgeving is prachtig.

Het huisje was op zich prima, het meeste is aanwezig, maar alles is gedateerd en dat is op zich niet zo’n probleem, maar het zou beter onderhouden kunnen worden.

Het douchen in een badkuip achter een gordijn is altijd behelpen, maar het kleine straaltje water uit de douchekop was echt een deceptie….en onnodig je ziet in Ierland overal die elektrische douche gevallen voor warm water en een normale straal water. Met deze straal duurt het ook twee dagen om de badkuip te vullen dus die zou ik vervangen voor een royale inloopdouche, ruimte genoeg.
