Wifi working, quiet no noise from other people inside the building. Everything in the kitchen working. Oven toaster etc. I saw there were new batteries in the draw, so I replaced the remotes old battery luckily so kids could watch some tv after a long journey. Asda is five minutes walk away. Metro station round the corner and bus garage. Ferry to South Shields is walking distance. Beds were comfortable. Washing machine was working. Was tricky at first to find the lock box but the host answered call and was very friendly and patient with me until I found it and checked in.
Living room is quite big. One electric heater I think there’s another one other side of room but didn’t know if I should switch it on, sofa was against it. Had to keep main room door closed to keep any heat. Not that I dislike just to be more warm more heaters.

Quiet, well ventilated bedroom with enough space. Good sized open plan dining room/kitchen/lounge. Close to Tyne ferry, Fish Quay, parks.
Slightly rough part of North Shields but once inside, the apartment was great
