Dahei Apartment Hotel

We had a lovely stay. Getting in was not an issue, it was quiet, we had parking (paid), and the fact that it has a small kitchen is great if you travel with kids and need to heat up or prepare small meals. There are plenty of grocery shops around from which you can buy breakfast foods, and the fridge is big enough to hold your cold items. I do not have any complaints about the cleanliness. I would definitely stay here next time we travel to Copenhagen.

Some guests cooked fish one evening and the entire floor smelled like cooked fish, but that is not the hotel's fault. The rules state clearly you're not supposed to do that.

It was designed very nicely and had everything we needed (fully equipped kitchen, towels, iron etc.) and more. The location is not super central but is in a quiet area but there are restaurants and stores in walking distance. The subway is also just a few minutes walking away and runs 24/7, making it very easy to get everywhere. Check-in and check-out of the hotel is conveniently online and the room is accessed via code without any keys.

Maybe it is my mistake but I didn't realize that housekeeping would be an additional cost. We stayed 5 days so it would have been nice to have some extra towels and some cleaning. To be clear, you can ask for additional housekeeping at an extra cost but I didn't notice before booking.

I liked a lot our Dahei Apartment. The interior design, the color used, the lightning and everything else creates a very cozy space. The bathroom has a warm floor and for me was more than perfect after a long day of waking to the city. The entire apartment is very well equipped. The location is okay. The metro station is at 5 min walk away and from there you can reach every important area of the city. Also at 5 min away is a market from where you can buy whatever you need in the room.

The note for the new year and the gift was a very nice gesture, we wore the hats in the city for the new year. The receptionist was hot. It was a clean and well maintained room. The staff really does a great job.

It is not a place anyone looks but the red magnetic grill in front of the radiator fell and there was some gathered dust there that could use some vacuuming. Again, the room was super clean and the staff does an excellent job, not a complaint in any way. Just a hint.

A wonderful Christmas stay – highly recommend! ​We spent three wonderful Christmas days in Copenhagen and were very happy with our stay at Hotel Dahei! We booked two rooms for three people. ​What we liked: ​Warmth: The rooms were very warm, which is essential during cold December days. ​Comfort: Comfortable beds and pillows, along with high-quality bed linens. ​Bathroom: A very large bathroom! There was always hot water, good quality shampoo and shower gel, a hairdryer, and plenty of towels. ​Kitchenette: The room has a small kitchen equipped with everything you need: plates, glasses, a pot, a pan, knives, and other utensils. There is also a small fridge, an electric kettle, and a capsule coffee machine. We were kindly provided with a set of tea and coffee capsules for the duration of our stay. ​Tech: A good TV was available in the room. ​The room itself is small but quite cozy. The only thing to note is that there is no wardrobe. For storage, there is a wall-mounted shelf with two compartments and a clothes rack. Since we traveled light, this was enough for us. ​Special touches: I want to highlight the exceptional hospitality of the Dahei team! Before our arrival, we mentioned that we were visiting Copenhagen to celebrate our daughter’s 25th birthday. We were so touched to find a bottle of good wine and a box of chocolates waiting in her room as a gift! Thank you so much for this thoughtful gesture. ​Service & Location: Check-in was seamless: we received all the information for contactless entry and the room codes in advance. Any questions we had during our stay were resolved instantly—the team is always reachable and very helpful. ​The location is excellent: The neighborhood where the hotel is located is cozy, quiet, and safe. * The metro station is just a 5-minute walk away. In 10 minutes, you are in the heart of the Old Town and near all the main attractions. ​The seaside is nearby! About 18 minutes on foot or 8 minutes by bike.

I travel to Copenhagen pretty often, and I must say this was one of the best experiences so far. The apartment is nice, clean, and well equipped. The location is near an M2 metro station, which is close to both the airport and the city center. And one more thing - the staff are super organized and helpful. In my case, there was an early check-in, which wasn’t expected. Also, by mistake, I left some of my belongings there, but they helped me get everything back smoothly. I will definitely come back.
