Unpleasant Reception Experience and Wrong Room Type

Our experience at the reception was unpleasant, leaving us with the feeling that we were at fault. My wife traveled alone, and I had booked the hotel for her (in her name) through my Booking.com account, paying with my credit card, which was also meant to serve as a security deposit. Upon arrival, the staff requested a photo of my credit card and ID, which I provided online, and additionally insisted that my wife provide her own credit card as a security deposit. She did not have a credit card and spent about an hour trying to explain that my credit card could be used or that her debit card could be accepted. In the end, they accepted her debit card. We even offered to cancel the room, but this was not allowed. Additionally, she received a room with single beds instead of the double bed we had reserved and that was on reservation picture. The overall experience at reception was so unpleasant that we avoided any further interaction with the staff and did not insist on receiving the room we had booked and paid for.

Close to the airport and city center

The room was clean. The breakfast was great. Close to the city center and the airport.

The balcony was shared between several rooms, people were constantly walking by. Since the windows were floor-to-ceiling, we had to keep the curtains closed all the time, which was a pity — we couldn’t enjoy the view.

Friendly staff. Location is good. Room is good not too small as all scandic hotel rooms are.

Breakfast is average or below. The room didn’t have complimentary coffee/tea or water. The room temperature wouldn’t adjust. The mattress was in bad shape. Only one small pillow

Awesome place if you want to discover Copenhagen in a quiet way

Lovely location! Airport and beach around the corner (yet hardly any airplane noise) and close by the city centre. Still very quiet! We loved our kitchenette and little balcony for breakfast.

I do appreciate that cleaning is happening only if you ask for it, but I do think a towel swap should be automatically.

Quality and a reasonable price

Nice modern building. Close to Amager beach which has a number of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. Really close to two Metro Stations with reasonably short travel times to the airport and town centre. Public transport is low cost and it is worth downloading the "Rejesekort" App which simplifies travel in the whole of Denmark. Views from rooms on the front of the building are really excellent. Breakfast is self service and really hits the spot but don't expect a classic "British" breakfast.

Ok for 2 days

The mattress is a silice, it is not very common, one of the water glace was dirty at our arrival,we found hair also on the bed that does not belong to us. The most important the black out, If you are a person who does not bother sleep with sunlight, you are able to sleep there

Nice building. 5th floor quite cool. Staff available while smiling. Pet friendly.

It would be ideal to have a quick lunch/dinner option as well: that would just be a big plus. It’s quite expensive.

The view was nice. The room is too small but well organized. Loundry and bicycle rent are available.

It was dusty inside. During our stay (4 nights) there was no cleaning - only making the bad... The worst part is the bed - it is too soft and we were sleeping like in a hamak. Poor breakfast - dont recommend.

Pleasant stay

I rented an apartment, so breakfast was not included. The apartment was clean and reasonably comfortable. There was a balcony outside the apartment, but afforded no view to speak of, unfortunately. I liked that I could make my own food since I had a fridge.

The bathroom was teeny tiny, and water spilled out all over the floor when I took a shower. The apartment was very small. Not enough hangers to hang up my clothes. When I checked out the young lady at the reception desk was friendly enough, but she spoke no Danish, which really offended me! The apartment was not centrally located, and the metro was a 10 minute walk away.

Room very small and should not be advertised as a suite. Poor access between reception on floor 4 and floor 5. Waited 7 minutes for the lift on one occasion!

relaxed. I stayed four nights. Slept like a log after days spent on the city.

This hotel is just three metro stops from the airport and the local metro stop wil bring you into city and all the sights without delay. In a residential setting and ten mins from beach - great italian eatery there. Fifth floor rooms offer great view in morning for breakfast. Didnt try the breakfast as my room had kitchenette. Room was clean. Comfy bed and bright room. Great shower. Staff really helpful. Nice casual bar serving beer wine etc. You need your check in card to operate the lift. Two supermarkets on the corner.

Not an issue for me ... I would recommend this place if you prefer a residential setting. ( I do) However Its a long walk into the city but bicycles are available and the metro is super.

Comfortable and elegant

Hotel is in pristine condition. The rooms are modern and extremely clean. Roof terrace is small, but really nice - I loved the soft, comfy chairs up there. The reception area is very beautiful and comfortable. The hotel is close to the Copenhagen metro and one of the nicest beaches in town. The staff is incredibly attentive and very helpful, day and night. The wi-fi was fast and stable for my entire stay.

The air conditioner system is fiddly (but effective). Some noisy doors kept slamming.

Perfect hotel waneer je niet in city center wil zitten.

De ligging (strand, luchthaven en metro naar centrum), de geluidsdichte kamers, toegankelijkheid, personeel, sustainability. Goede parkeergelegenheid en goede restaurants in de buurt. Goed ook om te gaan joggen of wandelen.

Por el precio hay cientos de mejores

Me gusto la ubicación

El apartamento sucio ( papelera sin vaciar, cal en el baño, terraza llena de excrementos de pájaro…) La limpieza es bajo pedido , y lo único que hicieron fue vaciar las botellas vacías que curiosamente valen dinero y toallas limpias . Menaje muy poco y de malísima calidad para el precio . Personal poco entrenado para resolver dudas y conflictos en el acto . Pagamos para usar la lavandería y nos destrozo una lavadora entera de ropa, comunicamos al personal que hay un hongo peligroso en la lavadora y nadie reaccionó ante esto .

Gute Kombination aus Stadt und Strand

Die Lage auf Amager hat uns sehr gut gefallen . Wir waren in 15 min mit den Rad im Zentrum und nachmittags konnten wir den Amager Strandpark genießen. Es gibt ringsum gute Restaurants und Supermärkte. Wir hatten ein Appartement und machten uns selbst Frühstück. Für 2-3 Nächte ist die Größe des Appartements (eher ein Doppelzimmer mit Küchenzeile) ok. Da es keinen Schrank gibt muss man aus dem Koffer leben, der dann auch immer etwas im Weg steht. Dennoch wir würden wieder kommen :-)

Größe des Appartements, ist etwas zu klein und Schrank für Kleidung fehlt.
