Basic hotel someway out of the city center

Room was good, basic, compact. Nothing to complain. Clean. Easy to reach from the airport. Value for money was good compared to other hotels during my stay around Christmas. Morning staff was a :) :)

I was expecting the hotel to be IN city center as the name suggests. Unfortunately it was more of a suburb and not much anything around the hotel. Quiet but a bit depressing/boring area. In short walking distance there was only one expensive ramen shop and basic grocery store open. Not far from metro station but it was a bit shady one. Night staff was a -_-

Convenient location

We like the location (and the free parking in the neighborhood). Close to the beach, close to the metro, and the city centre is also reachable on food if fancy a 35-45 minutes walk. The hotel is fine, with a large terrace, and enough facilities, including washing and ironing possibilities. Breakfast restaurant at a reasonable price, though we never use it thanks to the many good breakfasts/coffee places in the neighborhood. Nice bathroom, though it gets a bit wet when showering.

Rooms are nice but small. Fine for bringing two carry-ons, but not more. As usual on these kind of hotels there are little space to unpack, store and hang your clothes. Biggest complain are the beds though, which have seen better days it appears, resulting in that even with my weight (60 kg) I sink deep in and had hard time sleeping Way too soft!

Totally worth the price if you’re not staying too long and want something with metro nearby.

Our room was really clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The metro station was just 9 minutes away on foot and we had a pharmacy shop and two super markets just around the corner. We also had amazing breakfast for almost 15€ per person which is really good value for money for the Danish standards.

The room was very small which we knew already, but it was really difficult to open up our big suitcases and move around at the same time (although we were just two).

The double rooms are very small. It’s ok for short stays with carry ons but for longer stays with large luggage it’s not recommended. There is literally no space to open a large luggage except on the bed.

Great location & clean, poor sleep.

Staff were kind and helpful. Great location, very close to airport, the city and transport links. Hotel was clean.

Delay getting into room as not cleaned on time. Room very hot. Room very bright at night as our room was right outside the big purple hotel sign, so didn't get much sleep. Mattress was extremely soft, it was actually a mattress topper onto of the bed (no actual mattress), it made the bed quite uncomfortable.

Great stay at Go Hotel City.

Great location. Easy getting to city central by either walking or metro. Staff were great. Very helpful. The view from the roof top was amazing. Really enjoyed our stay.

Rooms were a bit small for two people and golf clubs.

Great hotel

Great shared spaces, including roof terrace. Clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced bar and snacks (for copenhagen). Breakfast good choice of food. Easy access to the metro, about 5-10 mins walk, so great location. Supermarket around the corner. A few places to eat nearby, recommend Pulpo (expensive!) And Cibo (reasonably priced)

Room was small, felt like we were on top of each other. We were out a lot and hung out at the shared spaces, so not a huge thing.

A thoughtfully planned and well run hotel which suited our needs perfectly.

The breakfast was excellent and, as it was on the fourth floor, had pleasant views. Room had all we needed and was superbly clean. Metro station ro centre (and airport) just five minutes away. The hotel probably exceeded our expectations.

Great hotel for short visits

Great room for a short stay (<4 days), close to metro station linking city center and the airport, beautiful location overall

The room was pretty cramped, and it got hot and stuffy very easily despite it being 7 degrees celcius outside. The vents in the window don't seem to do much, but keeping the windows open seems a little unsafe when just 2 meters above the sidewalk

Perfect for a short stay in Copenhagen.

The breakfast was good. It had all the foods that I like in the morning. The bread was of high quality. The cold meats and cheeses were just fine. The breakfast room was nice with a good view. The bedroom was fine. The staff were helpful and polite when asked questions. Choice to two close by metro stations. Good well lit paths but Oresund was the more convenient one. Good stores, cafes and restaurants near by.

The bedroom was a bit on the small side for me. As my stay was for a week there was inadequate clothes hanging space. It would be fine for a shorter stay. The breakfast room layout serving area needs to be improved. At times people just got in each others way. it was tricky balancing your tray and getting your breakfast items assembled. The coffee machine was a particular choke point.

Enjoyable

When we arrived we saw that our room was too small for 2 of us and 2 big luggages, so we requested for an upgrade, which the staff obliged and gave us an apartment with a small kitchenette. It was very nice. We loved it. If you are travelling with big luggages it would be better to get a bigger room. The staff were very helpful, even gave us suggestions for local cuisines and they were very good. Told us which transport to take. Super nice

Clean hotel, near the beaches.

Far from the city center. Was hot and no air conditioner. When opening the windows its too noisy. The room was too close to the street, so with the window open, it would be easy for someone to sneak in.

Excellent place to stay

It's close to 2 metro stations, which go straight to the airport. Also not too far from the airport, as well as the city centre. The area seems to be a residential area so it's quiet and peaceful. Multiple cafes and grocery stores nearby. The facility itself is comfortable and modern. Room space is adequate. Staff have been friendly.

I feel like my pillow was a bit thin. Otherwise nothing major.

The reception area is comfortable enough if you wish to have simple meals by the sofa or the lounge chairs outside.

Few minor issues: Amenities like the moveable table in the room was broken, room floor was dusty, the sink in the bathroom was clogged, and the toilet seat cover was loose.
