Good grounds, well kept. Rooms need major renewal.

Room was cold, radiator and towel rail were set to 21 degrees C but did not come on, result was cold in bed! Bed linen smelt unpleasantly stale, although laundered. Room wallpsper was torn and stained, skirting boards beyond end of life.

It is a convenient hotel for an overnight stop on way to Cherbourg. Staff are pleasant

Reception staff were very efficient

The room was "tired". Toilet seat broken, electrical socket in room broken. Room needed a revamp. Tinned fruit salad on offer for breakfast!

Nice quiet hotel in a great location

The Cositel is one of our favourites when we visit Normandy. Well situated in a quiet location conveniently near the main roads north, east and south. The breakfast is good in the salon that has been expanded in the last 2 years. They can now also supply you with a satisfying ready made evening meal if needed. French towns are notorious for most of their restaurants being closed on Sunday evenings. But the new trend is to the 'Woks' that seems to be in most trading estates or suburbs. These are self-service buffets that will also grill the food of your choise if necessary. Good value and highly recommended! Coutance is no exception!

it was not what we were looking for, however it might suit others.

it can was convenient to get to and had plenty of parking.

no restaurant, no draught beer and only one white wine. There was no atmosphere at all.

the lady in reception was incredible. she stayed late to allow us to check and then when she couldn’t book us a taxi she

Very friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere.

Not as close to the city centre as indicated. Need a car for all movements. We found it slightly on the expensive side when compared to what it offers.
