A comfortable stay

The staff here are fantastic, friendly and helpful. They upgraded us to a bigger sea-view room free of charge. You cannot beat the location, a stones throw away from the sea. Most importantly the bed was extremely comfortable and the room is well heated. I did not have the breakfast so cannot comment on that.

My only point of improvement to make would be the showerhead could do with descaling as it did have quite a bit of grime, but that aside it was very clean and the cleaners even came every day over the Christmas holiday to clean our room. We were very impressed.

The staff were very kind and welcoming. The room wasn’t particularly large, but it was clean and well-equipped — I’d say the amenities were quite good compared to many hotels in France. There was even bottled mineral water provided, which showed a nice attention to detail. The breakfast was buffet-style and quite plentiful.

I think the breakfast was quite good, but €13.50 felt a bit expensive. I couldn’t help but feel that the balance between the price and what was offered wasn’t quite right.

It was a pleasant place to stay close to the coast.

The room was very small and the cupboard was too small to hang clothes. The shower was in the bath under a sloping roof so although I was an able to shower as I’m short it wouldn’t have been possible for anyone taller.

A Gem of a find on the way back to the ferry.

The rooms were fabulous and spotlessly clean. Our hosts were were wonderfully pleasant and spoke very good English. Bar facility was good and the location is great. Nice restaurant nearby and a bar and take away grill also. A gem of a find on our way back to Cherbourg for the ferry the next day. Real value for money.

Wasn't much we didn't like tbh. I would recommend to anyone.

A quiet break to relax and refresh

We had a lovely stay in this quiet hotel, comfortable, welcoming and clean. Free parking and a variety of small restaurants were adjacent to the hotel. Lovely walks along the promenade and sea views were two minutes walk away.

A real 'find' - would certainly stay again if in the area

Size of room - very generous, likewise the en suite bathroom. Breakfast - good variety of foods on offer. Small suggestion - a light in the turn of the stairs up to the first floor would be welcome

Wonderful extremely helpful staff, outstanding breakfast, very clean rooms, comfortable beds, close to the beach and a lovely restaurant. All the rooms had electric shutters in addition to curtains. Great value for money.

the hotel is opposite a small fun fair which didn't stop until midnight. The double glazing is excellent so you couldn't hear it when the windows were closed however, even though there are fans in the rooms we were staying in a heatwave and it meant the rooms were unbearably hot as we couldn't open the windows. As we were with small children we had to go to bed relatively early but if you were only adults I can't imagine it would bother you too much. I imagine this is only seasonal.

Fantastic stayover

Lovely bedroom decor, beds really comfortable and children's beds equally so. Bathroom was spectacular and had everything you needed. Host really nice, especially to our two children. Excellent location with a short walk to the beach. We would not hesitate to book again.......

Lovely room with a really good en-suite. Everyone at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Nice bar on-site with complimentary olives provided with our drinks and they also serve a selection of tapas. Great location near the beach, restaurants and bars.

Room was nice, clean & very spacious, bed comfortable. Bathroom was very nice as well, they provided towels and toiletries.

Room needed black out curtains. The ones in the room were super thin, so we were awake at 630am after a late night.
