It was an absolute delight to stay at Spa Torkel. Nothing short of a fantastic, relaxing, recharging stay. Beautiful room, spacious spa area with pool, whirlpool and two saunas, in walking distance to the lake, an INCREDIBLY attentive and caring staff, deliciously fresh and locally sourced breakfast and a stunning 5 course dinner in the evening. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this place and we will definitely be back again. WOW!

Not a single thing. It was a perfect stay with perfect service, perfect amenities, perfect food in the perfect location. Only thing I would change now is the choice to only stay two nights.

Great getaway at the Bodensee

We stayed there to celebrate our anniversary. Great memories of this place - both the hotel and the very special restaurant. Great location. Very walkable. Will be back for sure.

Tolles Haus

Das Hotel Torkel ist ein Familien-Vorzeigehotel wie es im Bilderbuch steht. Sauber, gepflegt und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Altes mit Neuem hervorragenden umgesetzt. Unser Empfang durch die Junior Chefin hätte nicht freundlicher sein können. Ein wunderbares Frühstücksbueffet, mit frisch zubereiteten Eiern, versüßt den Start in den Tag. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und wurden abends mit einem Gruss aus der Küche verwöhnt. Anschließend folgte ein leckeres 4-Gänge-Menü. Die Speisen wurden auf sehr schönem, geschmackvollen Geschirr liebevoll präsentiert. Begleitet von Weinen, die uns Somelier Bernhard empfohlen hat. Herr Bernhard überzeugt durch sein fundiertes Fachwissen und seine überaus empatische Art und Weise. Einfach nur toll! Wir hatten auch das Vergnügen die Senior-Chefin kennenzulernen und auch sie hat das Herz auf dem richtigen Fleck. Von Anfang bis zum Ende hatten wir einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Torkel. Die persönliche Ansprache, aber niemals auch nur mit einem Hauch von Aufdringlichkeit, wird in diesem Hotel gelebt. Daumen hoch!! So geht HOTEL. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Alles Gute und Liebe weiterhin.

Czuć rodzinną atmosferę, na odpowiednim poziomie komfortu. Również miejsce idealne do odwiedzenia Jeziora Bodeńskiego ze wszystkimi jego atrakcjami.

NIc nie przychodzi do głowy, utrzymać standard, to już będzie naprawdę dużo.

Joli petit hôtel au bord du lac de Constance

Hôtel familial très bien et le personnel est très accueillant. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est agréable, les menus proposés excellents. Les installations sont de bonne qualité (piscine, sauna, Hammam) et la Suite très confortable et spacieuse. Je recommande cette hôtel.

Ausstattung des Einzelzimmers keine Klimaanlage sehr schlechtes Bett mit schlechtem Kopfkissen und warmer schlechter Decke. Bettlaken sehr alt ganz schlecht. WC und Dusche im Zimmer

Hier wird Hotellerie gelebt. Sehr nette Menschen kümmern sich liebenswert um das Wohl der Gäste. Die Küche ist ausgezeichnet. Die Gebrüder Stoppel sind ein gutes Team.

Tolles familiengeführtes Hotel mit grandiosem Konzept!

Wir kamen kürzlich in den Genuss einen Aufenthalt im Hotel Restaurant Spa Torkel erleben zu können. Fam. Stoppel leitet mit viel Herzblut dieses Juwel in Nonnenhorn. Man wird schon sehr herzlich im Foyer empfangen und vom Chef persönlich auf die wunderschönen Zimmer geführt. Ein zarter Duft durchströmt das ganze Hotel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit frisch eingelassenem Whirlpool gebucht und waren von der hochwertigen Einrichtung begeistert. Die Regendusche ist von einzigartiger Qualität. Abends wird man im Hotel mit einer täglich wechselnden Abendkarte verwöhnt. Die liebevoll angerichteten Speisen werden vom Küchenteam auf Haubenniveau zubereitet. Jeder Gang ist einfach grandios. Der hauseigene Sommelier begleitet mit Kompetenz durch den Abend. Besonders schön fanden wir, dass die Seniorchefin persönlich an jeden Tisch kommt um sich vorzustellen. Hierbei erfuhren wir auch das eine oder andere aus der Hotelgeschichte. Nach einem perfekten Mahl kann man den Abend im eigenen Whirlpool gemütlich ausklingen lassen. Erholsamer Schlaf ist in den sehr bequemen Betten garantiert. Der Tag startet mit einem richtig tollen Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Frisch zubereitete Eiergerichte, welche speziell auf die Bedürfnisse des Gastes abgestimmt werden, umrahmen die hochwertige Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet. Durch die täglichen Morgenpost am Tisch ist man bestens über Wetter, Sehenswürdigkeiten und allem Wissenswerten informiert. Auch hier wird man liebevoll von einem Teil der Familie betreut. Besser kann ein Tag einfach nicht starten! Herzlichen Dank an Familie Stoppel und ihr Team! Ihr habt uns den Aufenthalt mit eurem großartigen Konzept unvergesslich gemacht!
