If you want a quiet, comfortable place away from town where you can enjoy beautiful views, this is a good choice.

The person who met us was stellar in terms of helping us get settled in. He went over and above in helping us work out the details of our visit. The views from the balconies are spectacular. The accommodations were reasonably well apportioned (no plug for the tub, don’t expect flat sheets, but otherwise, everything we needed for a one-night stay). The location is quiet and the neighborhood walkable.

Context: we are a couple with very different schedules (a night owl and morning lark), so having separate spaces (e.g., a living room or den separate from the bedroom) is important. There really is no separate space here except for the balconies. That isn’t a fault of the property, but make sure the space fits your particular needs. Apparently, there were instructions for the use of the minibar (buried somewhere in the mini bar), but note that you will need to bring cash to cover any items. Again, not a flaw (unless, for the price, you are expecting drinks gratis).

Glorious stay in perfect accommodation

The host greeted us in a warm and friendly manner. The room is immaculately clean and comfortable. The location is spectacular and we have the most wonderful night's sleep. The host was able to recommend a lovely restaurant in Luzern and was very attentive. Highly recommended accommodation. We would stay here again.

There wasn't anything we disliked. A point to note however is that there didn't appear to be a hot tub so this should perhaps be removed from the description of the room?

Amazing mountain views from a well appointed apartment with lovely terrace.

The apartment has an amazing view of Mt Pilatus and the meadow. It was warm with a large modern bathroom. The outside terrace is a great bonus - vary spacious and with mountain views also. The host, Francesco, was exceptional, very welcoming, friendly and obliging. Fresh fruit was provided. There is a regular bus service (which is necessary as it is a bit out of town) though we had a car so no problems - and parking onsite.

Very good location, 9 mins drive from the centre of Luzern, good size bedroom, nice newly renovated bathroom and like the Terrece where the breakfast served.

A hard pillow option would be nice.

Exceptional

A nice quiet place outside of the main city with a beautiful view of Pilatus from the room. Amazing host and he goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable throughout your stay. You can contact him anytime for suggestions and guidance to move around and is happy to help to his best always. You have an amazing view from the terrace covering portion of the beautiful Lucerne Lake on one side with a vast green field to the other but of course Pilatus takes the center view towering over everything.

It wasn't fair for us to have such short stay at such beautiful place but we had to leave sometime 😊

was a perfect getaway far from the madding crowd !

the Owner was there to greet us both at Check in and Check out and was very quick to respond to messages and requests. the property overlooks the Swiss countryside and is in a quiet neighborhood - beautiful walks nearby and easy access to the Lake

all i can think of is some extra electrical points in the room to charge devices. maybe even a multi point strip / extension cord would be sufficient.

Extraordinary! We can’t wait to visit again!

Everything was fantastic! The location is stunning with both a large balcony and private balcony to enjoy the view of the mountain. It is situated just outside of Luzern, so peaceful and quite. We loved having our windows open at night. The owners are wonderful! They welcomed us with a champagne toast and we’re very helpful with any questions we had. Breakfast was delicious and we sat outside enjoying the view while eating. Oh, and the bed was very comfortable!

Relaxing getaway

Gorgeous views and wonderful accommodations. We only stopped in Lucerne for 1 night here which was a shame, definitely a place to enjoy for at least 2-3 nights. However, this place made our last night in Switzerland very relaxing for 1 last time to take in the views. Francesco and staff were very welcoming, friendly, and communicative. The continental breakfast in the morning was delightful on the balcony (they accommodated for our early morning train time). It’s about 20-25 minutes outside the city centre/train station via bus (visitor city bus card not included free here, but it is in zone 10, not too expensive for a day pass with our half fare cards). It was a tiny bit warm (no AC, can’t imagine they need it) for a small period, but we happened to go on an unusually hot day. The windows open and breeze once the sun went down were adequate for a comfortable nights rest, and quite relaxing. If we had more time, it looked like there were tons of nice walking spots up the hills and by the water right by this place. Highly recommend if you want something in a more quiet area with stunning views and accommodations!

Gute Kommunikation, herzlicher persönlicher Empfang von Silvia und Francesco mit Einführung in die Unterkunft und die schöne Umgebung. Dank Wetterglück konnten wir die grosse Terrasse geniessen, wo uns am Morgen ein liebevoll vorbereitetes, grosszügiges Frühstück erwartete. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und kombiniert mit der extremen ländlichen Ruhe konnten wir wunderbar schlafen. Ein sehr sympathisches Ambiente zu dem wir gerne zurückkehren möchten.

lovely and beautiful place

Skønt sted med alt hvad vi kunne ønske os. Venlig og informativ vært. Rummelig værelse med dejlig altan/terrasse med den skønneste udsigt. Bus sted kun 200 meter væk, med 17 minutters kørsel og man er i Luzern. Derudover mulighed for leje af cykler (Nextbike) 300 meter fra stedet. Bestemt et sted vi kan anbefale.

Empfehlenswerter Aufenthalt wenn man der Hektik der Stadt Luzern etwas entfliehen möchte.

Die Lage des Gasthauses war perfekt. Ruhige Lage, gute Busverbindung und nicht weit vom Schiffssteg entfernt. Das Zimmer ist gross und sehr zweckmässig eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Das Bett war leider nicht so bequem, aber okay.
