Great staff, location and room

The room was big and clean. Great location in the city center and close to the station. Upon our arrival we realised that a chair was broken and the staff came to check the situation very quickly even though there is no reception. The amenities (tea, coffee, tissue boxes, kitchen paper …) were also provided in a generous amount

Perfect Stay in the Bern

The place was extremely clean and very well maintained. Its location is excellent—very close to the train station and right in the city center. We stayed during New Year’s Eve, and everything was within walking distance. There are plenty of markets and restaurants nearby. The kitchen was fully sufficient for our stay, and both the room and bathroom were spotless and well organized. The staff were incredibly helpful and responded to messages very quickly and efficiently. Special thanks to the staff for their efforts and support! We truly loved our time here and are already planning to visit again on our next trip to Bern. Highly recommended—an easy 10/10.

Location is very good. Near the train station. The room is pretty big and clean. I will stay here next time when I visit Bern.

A nice place to sleep and shower.

The location was great. We were near shopping and eateries and the neighborhood was quite nice. Very friendly people. The bed was comfortable and the building was nice and felt safe. We had a great breakfast at COOP which is very nearby.

While there was a nice, roomy hallway from the bedroom to the bathroom, there were no hooks or a bench or luggage rack at all in that big hallway. Disappointed that the tv remote was broken. The buttons simply didn’t work.

Great stay in Bern.

Great little apartment with cooktop and nice refrigerator. The kitchen was very clean, as well as the rest of the apartment. Coffee was provided. Super convenient to the grocery stores.

Neighborhood was lively at night, so I used my earplugs. It helped to be up a couple of floors. It was the weekend, so I don't know if it's the same on weeknights.

Overall, we are very happy with the location. Is easy to navigate and nearby has a lot of cafes, supermarkets etc.

Location, clean and spacious. The apartment provides a lot of cutleries, pots and pan, cup, glasses etc. they also provide oil, pepper, salt etc.

The lift is too small. If there is housekeeping daily or alternate days (not upon request) will be good. At least clean the toilet or throw rubbish regularly. The area can be quite noisy at night.

A great conveniently-located place to stay allowing for exploration through the heart of Bern.

We especially loved the location of Akomo Bern - it's very close to the train station and is in the west edge of the old town, which made for very convenient walks around town and to/from lovely restaurants, cafes and other sites. Self check-in was also very convenient, and the room was comfortable, with all the amenities we needed to have a home away from home.

Gem of Bern

This room if more like an apartment than hotel and it was terrific; easy to access, great location, very spacious, comfortable beds/pillows, and an air conditioner that properly cooled the room. Staff was prompt to respond to online correspondence as well. Highly recommended!

If someone had a lot of luggage, the small elevator might prove challenging. For us this was no problem.

Very good location. Nice big room for us all. Kitchenette with fridge and all crockery. Air conditioning. TV. Access code door locks - front and individual room. Washing up facilities. Toilet modern and well presented.

Shower tray dangerously slippy with no warning. Hairs on bedsheets/ pillows. Lots of bulbs not replaced.

Very nice hotel in a great location

The Akomo Bern was a very nice self check-in hotel. Communication with the property was easy through booking.com. They were very responsive and allowed us an early check-in, which was much appreciated. The location is ideal as it's very close to the Bern train station as well as right at the edge of Bern's old town, which is a major attraction. We'd stay here again.

It would be absolutely perfect if there were a mini frig and hair dryer.

NO wifi connection.

I/we liked the location of the the hotel, as its all near to shops and public transport.

We did not like the fact that the hotel states that they have "free wifi" and when we checked in 9 of us were having trouble connecting to their wifi. and when i emailed about our concern we did not get any response. The hotel is lovely, clean, spacious, near to public transport and tourist spots unfortunately its the lackk of communication/response from the hotel that put the rating down. And we didnt like as well that the hotel cannot accommodate anything of our request as we celebrate 3 of our friends birthday not even a simple wine, card or cake as we are willing to pay for it anyway.

It was comfortable, convenient and well suited to our needs.

The room was spacious with comfortable seating, an exCellent bed, great pillows, and a well outfitted kitchenette. It was a very short walk from the train station and right on the edge of the old town. We were able to do a lot of things without using transit. Breakfast was not included but we were close to cafes and restaurants. Additionally, the refrigerator, kettle, microwave, stove top, sink and dishes made it easy to prepare food purchased at the nearby COOP. This unique hotel does not include a fancy lobby or restaurant. You get good value in an excellent room.

The location is really good if travelling by train. Although google maps says walk 8 mins .., our map took us a long way round . You can actually go through the train station to the luggage lockers and main train station office … there is an exit at the luggage lockers … you just need to exit there .. cross the road and it is not far from there - google maps will find it easier if you are at that exit . The property is really close to shops and easy walk to old town.

The hotel provide early check-in, which allowed us to start our tour early without having to store luggages. Digital code was provided after We performed early self check-in, which make it so convenient and fast to access our room.

The downside of the hotel is the lift is really small, only allow one person to go in with a luggage. if 2 persons were to go in together, really very clamp.

One day a sound of drilling has woken me up at about 6.30, not sur eif in building or next one. Also no socket - or is well hidden in bathroom to plug in hair dryer. Also as this room accommodates 4, more plates and a salad bowl would be facilitating when families in the room.

Perfect location, clean and comfortable, good value.

Close to the main station on the edge of the main drag. Nice and quiet. Clean and comfortable bed. Huge bathroom and the coffee machine and cream satchels were gold. Only stayed one night but we liked it.

The lift was kind of small but no problem. The staircase had a bit of a fire escape in a hospital vibe and looked like maybe the building was an office block previously… but again no problem. Just didn’t really have a cosy hotel welcome vibe.
