Lovely room! Lydia and Colin were very accommodating. We had a little hiccup with a possible double booking but it was quickly sorted and Colin carried our suitcases up to the top floor us. Honestly lovely staff.
The price was a little bit on the higher side but it was expected with it being NYE.

Nothing - if I had to be picky it would be that the WiFi was poor

We paid a £200 security deposit when checking in. Since checking out the money has still not been returned and I am unable to contact anyone at the property!

Lydia the host was absolutely fantastic. So helpful, accommodating and humorous. Colin on reception was such a caring gent. He went out of his way to make us feel safe in his lovely city. Going beyond what we expected which was so appreciated. (Family of 4 all female) Colin showed us personally where The Cavern Club was an example of nothing was too much trouble to him. Lydia and Colin made our trip, thank-you both.
Couldn't get the TV in room to work ( room 6) but we weren't there to watch tv 😆
Couldn't get the shower to run hot.....but we weren't bothered as were from up north and had a flannel 😂😂😂😂😂

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the extremely poor and unhygienic conditions I encountered during my recent stay at your hotel on the 19th July 2025 at the Elenor Rigby Hotel.
Specifically, I experienced the following serious issues:
Silverfish in the Bed – I was extremely disturbed to find silverfish insects in the bed. This is a clear sign of poor cleanliness and pest control, and it made the sleeping conditions both uncomfortable and unsanitary. This mean we was unable to stay at our hotel.
Damaged Walls – The room had multiple visible dents and holes in the walls, creating an overall appearance of neglect and lack of proper maintenance.
Dirty Cutlery – The cutlery provided in the room was unclean and appeared to have not been properly washed, which is unacceptable in any hospitality setting.
Upon arrival, I noticed the room was dusty and generally unclean. Surfaces had visible layers of dust, and the room appeared not to have been properly cleaned before my check-in. In addition, there was an overall mess that made the space feel neglected and unhygienic.
This falls well below the standard I expected and made my stay uncomfortable. I urge you to review your cleaning procedures to ensure that future guests do not face the same issue.
These conditions not only fell far short of the basic standards one would expect from a hotel but also raised serious concerns about hygiene and guest safety.
I request an immediate investigation into this matter and appropriate compensation for the unacceptable state of the room. Please also confirm that steps are being taken to ensure no other guest is subjected to these conditions.

Great location as it was right by the bars and especially handy for the Cavern if you're a fan of the Beatles!
The beds were quite comfy as well.
Have rated 7 mainly for the location.
The photos were a bit misleading as we all thought we were going to get a huge apartment but instead, it was just one room containing the beds, sitting area and kitchen. I don't remember seeing a photo of what our apartment would actually look like, only of the big one. The glasses in the cupboard were dirty as well.

Good central location
During our stay at Eleanor Rigby Apartments, Stanley Street, Liverpool from Saturday 21st June to Sunday 22nd June, a hotel staff member entered our room uninvited at approximately 9:00 PM. He appeared to believe the room was unoccupied. When challenged, his explanation was that he “wanted to use our toilet.” This is completely unacceptable, and frankly, not believable.
We were staying on the top floor of the property, making his excuse even more implausible—there is absolutely no logical reason why a hotel employee would bypass any staff or public facilities to attempt to use a guest’s private bathroom, especially at 9PM, long after any reasonable cleaning or maintenance hours.
Furthermore, Mike, a member of our group, was in the room at the time and was undressed. This adds an even more serious layer to the violation—his privacy was invaded in what should have been a completely secure and private space.
To add to our concern, this same staff member had been seen earlier in the evening ogling young female guests as they were leaving the premises, behaviour that was both inappropriate and concerning. It raises very real suspicions about his true intentions and whether he may have attempted similar unauthorised access to other guests’ rooms.
We believe this was an intentional act—an attempt to enter the room while he thought it was empty, potentially to snoop or steal. If there is any doubt about our claims, we urge you to review the hotel’s CCTV footage from that evening, which should clearly confirm the staff member’s presence on our floor and near our room at the time we’ve specified.
This was not just poor service—it was a gross violation of our privacy, a serious breach of trust, and left us feeling extremely unsafe for the remainder of our stay. It is beyond unacceptable.

The location was excellent. the apartment was lovely, beds very, very comfortable. Tom, the guy who works there, was fab and so helpful.
This may seem like a moan, but more like, advise. There was nowhere to put anything! As a group of 10 girls for 2 nights, we had to live out of our suitcases/bags, only 4 chairs to sit on, our luggage was scattered all over apartment. There is only 1 large mirror in the room for getting ready. There are not enough glasses or cups for us all, so we had to have hot drinks on a rota.
Just some minor tweaks would make it amazing.

How close it was to everything. Perfect apartment for a trip with your friends, it felt like we were having a massive sleep over with the bunk beds! Beds were comfy and staff were lovely and friendly.
There were a few things broken e.g lights in the bunk beds did not work, blind strings and toilet seat was coming off. We couldn’t figure out how to connect to the Bluetooth (however that was probably a problem on our end)

Location was good in that it was right in the city centre, reception was open and we were allowed earlier access. Beds were comfy and linen etc was decent quality.
Plug sockets were burnt out and unusable by the mirror, it was smaller than it appeared. There were not enough cups/glasses and the ones that were there were filthy so we had to go out and buy some glasses. There was no soap/handwash available. The blinds were awful and you couldn't close them properly which was an issue as everyone can see in. The windows were not very well sealed and were single pane so you could hear everything all night/morning. The noise from the building was also incredibly loud, music playing all night. So book here if you don't plan on sleeping and you just want somewhere to base yourself very close to the city centre. I did share concerns about blinds and most importantly the electric sockets (these weren't switched off and were still live, we just chose not to use looking at the state of them) and the staff tried to help with the blinds and said they would look at sockets but obviously still a safety issue.

lack of towels and hot water.
pillows were like paper.
guest safety and room security was appalling! 2 random woman entered our apartment using the door code to gain access whilst we were still inside getting ready prior to checkout.
